Description

ChatTint is a lightweight Fabric mod that lets every player customize the colors of their in-game chat messages and name.
Choose your own chat style — from subtle shades to bright gradients — and make your messages stand out!

✨ Features

  • 🎨 Change your name color and message color individually.

  • 💬 Fully customizable using simple commands:

    • /chattint color name <color>

    • /chattint color message <color>

    • /chattint preview – see how your colors look in chat.

    • /chattint reset – reset your colors to default.

  • 🖌 Supports both vanilla color names (red, gold, aqua, etc.) and hex codes (#FF00FF).

  • 💾 Player preferences are automatically saved per-user.

  • 🧩 Works on servers without requiring the mod on clients (server-side only).

  • Minecraft 1.21.10+

  • Fabric Loader 0.17.0 or later

  • Fabric API 0.136.0+
