**About This Mod**

This mod adds ancient Chinese weapons to Minecraft, including the Tang Hengdao, Ring-shou Dao, Yanlingdao, Yanchidao, and Miaodao.

**Version History & Updates:**

- **Version 1.7.5 (1.20.1 Forge):** Added Yanlingdao, Yanchidao, Yanchi Changdao, and Miaodao. Added unique execution animations for these weapons and bare hands. Wall-running is now possible by sneaking while facing a wall.
- **Version 1.6.9 (1.20.1 Forge):** Updated and refined the Light Kung Fu system, adding new light body techniques.
- **Version 1.6.0 (1.20.1 Forge):** Added the Ring-hilted Dao and Ceremonial Sword. Corrected the Tang Hengdao's design for historical accuracy.
- **Version 1.3.9 (1.21.1 Neoforge) and earlier:** The Tang Hengdao in these versions was historically inaccurate. It has since been renamed to "Peidao" in later versions, with two new series of historically-accurate Tang Hengdao added.

*Note: Due to unexpected issues, the mod has migrated to 1.20.1 Forge and cannot currently return to 1.21.1 Neoforge. Apologies for the inconvenience.*

**Weapon Abilities**

Certain weapons grant special effects when wielded:

- **Ring-hilted Dao:** Attacks inflict "Bleeding" on targets for several seconds.
- **Nether Baodao, Golden Strategy Guard Hengdao, Cold Iron Spine Hengdao:** Continuously consumes small amounts of XP to sustain the Damage Absorption effect.
- **Blue Ice Jade Hengdao:** Continuously consumes small amounts of XP to sustain the Strength effect.
- **Sheathed Sword (Off-hand):** Grants Resistance I while held.

*Compatible with the Better Combat mod.*

**Crafting**

All weapons have built-in recipes and are obtainable in survival mode:
- Most weapons require crafting the blade and sheath separately
- Some require forging upgrades
- Others need a blade blank first, then the complete blade, followed by the sheath

*Installing a recipe viewer mod is recommended.*

**Light Kung Fu System**

Press **G** (default key) to activate internal energy, then:

- **Press G again** to perform Light Kung Fu (consumes small XP)
  - *On ground:* Longer leaps
  - *In air:* Shorter distance (requires momentum)
- **Water Sprinting:** Enabled while internal energy is active
- **Air Combos:**
  - Sneak + H = Three-kick combo
  - Shift + H (after charging) = Continuous flying kick (e.g., "Foshan Shadowless Kick")

This mod adds ancient Chinese weapons from the Huaxia era to Minecraft, including the Tang Hengdao, Ring-shou Dao, Yanlingdao, Yanchidao, and Miaodao.

• 1.6.0（1.20.1 Forge）版本后，新增了环首刀、仪刀，且修正了唐横刀的形制问题，

• 1.3.9（1.21.1 Neoforge）版本及以前中的横刀并不符合现实事实考究，

• 因而如今已经在后续版本中将其改名为“佩刀”， 并添加了两系列不同刀格的“横刀”，

• 1.7.5（1.20.1 Forge）版本，新增雁翎刀、雁翅刀、雁翅长刀、苗刀，并给其和空手添加了不同处决，贴墙目视墙体按下潜行便可走壁。

• After version 1.6.0 (1.20.1 Forge), the Ring-hilted Dao and Ceremonial Sword were added, and the design of the Tang Hengdao was corrected.

例如环首刀的攻击会给对方添加“割伤”效果，持续几秒；

下界合金宝刀、金策卫横刀、寒铁脊横刀：

持刀时讲持续消耗少量经验来给伤害吸收效果续航。

青冰玉纹横刀：

持刀时讲持续消耗少量经验来给力量效果续航。若误导了各位还请谅解，

收刀入鞘拿在副手可持续赋予玩家一级抗性提升，

模组可以搭配Better Combat游玩。

所有武器已内置合成表，可生存获取，

大部分兵器的合成走向是单独制造刀和鞘，有的则是锻造升级合成，

有的是需要合成刀条再合成刀，然后鞘，

建议安装可查看合成表的模组配合游玩。

All weapons feature built-in crafting recipes and can be obtained through survival gameplay.

Most weapons follow a crafting path of separately crafting the blade and the sheath, while some are made through forging upgrades.

Others require crafting the blade blank first, then the complete blade, followed by the sheath.

We recommend installing mods that display crafting recipes for optimal gameplay.

还包含一点轻功系统，按下快捷键 G（默认）激活内功后即可操作，

• 激活时按G可以施展轻功，以消耗少量经验为代价，

• 玩家处于地面和空中时施展轻功的效果是不同的，

• 在地面施展可以跃的更远，在空中施展则效果要低一点，类似于需要借力的道理。

• 激活内功同时可以水上疾跑，如果想施展轻功，建议先停下来再施展，

• 空中潜行按H便可释放三连踢，再聚气（Shift+H）后则可释放连续飞踢，例如佛山无影脚。

It also includes a lightness skill system. Press the default hotkey G to activate your internal energy, then you can perform the skill.

• Press G while activated to execute the lightness skill, at the cost of consuming a small amount of experience.

• The effects of executing the lightness skill differ depending on whether the player is on ground or in air:

• Ground activation allows for longer leaps, while aerial activation yields slightly reduced distance, akin to the principle of leveraging momentum.

• Activating internal energy also enables water sprinting. For optimal lightness skill execution, it is recommended to pause movement before initiating the skill.

• While airborne, press sneak + H to perform a three-kick combo. After charging (Shift + H), you can unleash a continuous flying kick, such as the "Foshan Shadowless Kick."

因为一些意外模组迁移到了1.20.1 Forge，暂时没办法回1.21.1 Neoforge，请谅解。

武器的外形参考于网络各处资料，有的是参考于某些影视作品，

也有部分是以其参考原型基础上修改的外观，如有纰漏，还请指出。
