A Structure Datapack Overhauling and Replacing the Vanilla Mineshaft, Mesa Mineshaft and adding 4 New rare Mineshafts to your world
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Contains enhancements to cave generation, including ambience, decorative blocks, or changes to the noise generator itself.
Features structures of no particular theme, or meant as background decoration.
General improvements to world generation, such as bug fixes, aesthetic overhauls, or misc additions.
Adds new ores or other raw resources.
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

About
Description
This datapack, ported to the mod loaders Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, replaces the vanilla mineshaft and vanilla mesa mineshafts with jigsaw structures which overhaul the dirt room, add a mainline mineshaft and sideline mineshafts, side rooms, caved in mineshaft tunnels, storage rooms, and ore deposits.
It additionally adds mineshafts to the jagged and snowy peaks
the stoney peaks
and any surface biome (this one spawns very rare, about as rare as woodland mansions, if they could spawn in any biome)
Each Mineshaft version has a specific Ore type they replace 1% of all the stone/deepslate they tunnel through.
Which Mineshaft generates what ore?
Normal Mineshafts: Iron
Mesa Mineshafts: Gold
Jagged Mineshafts: Redstone
Stoney Mineshafts: Emeralds
Surface Mineshafts: Coal
Known Issues
Due to the limitation of it being a jigsaw structure, they cant dynamically adapt to where within a cave they spawn, and will only generate wooden supports, never chains. this may cause some visual issues that look quite uncanny. my deepest regrets for this.
It is also limited by not being able to not generate through water and stone aquifers. for that case it will still burrow through them, but create a stone shell
The Mineshafts that spawn in the mountains, surface and Mesa , do not generate bridges, which can cause floating rails to generate, and Minecart chests don't spawn in them, otherwise they would just float mid air and fall down.
I still hope this is an enjoyable experience despite Jigsaw Structures Shortcomings
