Description

Functional Storage Unofficial Extended Life is a fork of Functional Storage that aims to solve the most problematic bugs of the 1.20.1 version and to improve quality of life and customizability. As of the 1.0.0 release, the main changes compared to Functional Storage are bugfixes related to Storage Downgrades in Compacting Drawers and new config options to change the colors of the names of the Storage Upgrades in their item tooltips. For a comprehensive list of differences, you can see the changelog here.

2026-07-12 update

Functional Storage is now maintained again after having received no update for 9 months, so this mod will probably no longer be updated.

Migrating from Functional Storage to Functional Storage UEL

Migration will preserve existing blocks and items, but add-ons that were made for Functional Storage may not be compatible with Functional Storage UEL. If you were using Remove Hardcoded Colors From Functional Storage Upgrades to change the colors of the Storage Upgrades, you can now do it with a config file instead.
