🛒 GroundZero Marketplace – Player Trading Economy

A complete player-driven Marketplace and trading system for modded Minecraft and hybrid servers.

GroundZero Marketplace is a custom Minecraft Forge mod originally developed for the GroundZero Zombie Survival RP Server.

It introduces a fully integrated player marketplace, three specialized traders, 50 custom valuable items, physical cash transactions, Vault economy support, and a custom-designed trading interface.

🔫 Gun Trader

A specialized trader for firearms, ammunition, and combat equipment.

Server owners can configure which items the trader accepts and their buying and selling prices.

🌾 Farm Trader

A dedicated trader for farming products, food, crops, and survival resources.

Players can sell supported resources directly without waiting for another player to purchase them.

💎 Valuable Trader – 50 Custom Valuables

GroundZero Marketplace includes 50 unique collectible valuable items, inspired by extraction-style survival games such as Escape from Tarkov.

These valuables introduce an additional loot-based economy for survival servers.

• Collectibles designed for exploration, scavenging, and looting.

💰 Physical Cash & Vault Economy

GroundZero Marketplace supports two payment approaches.

Physical Cash – GroundZero Phone

Use physical banknotes for supported transactions and cash withdrawals.

Available denominations:

• $1

• $10

• $100

• $1,000

Larger cash withdrawals are paid using $1,000 notes, with smaller denominations for any remaining amount.

GroundZero Phone is required to use these physical cash items.

Vault Economy – Hybrid Servers

Compatible hybrid servers can integrate with Vault and an installed Vault-compatible economy provider.

This allows the Marketplace to work with existing server economy balances rather than relying on physical banknotes.

Vault integration is optional and requires a compatible hybrid server environment.

📂 Portfolio & Transaction History

Each player has their own Portfolio where they can:

• View Marketplace earnings.

• Manage active listings.

• Cancel listings.

• Collect purchased items and deliveries.

• Withdraw earnings as physical cash.

• Claim earnings through Vault when enabled.

• Review transaction history.

The interface includes item previews, search, pagination, quantity selection, confirmation screens, and pricing information.

Server owners can configure:

• Trader buying and selling prices.

• Available trader items.

• Marketplace listing limits.

• Maximum listing prices.

• Cash withdrawal limits.

• Vault payment integration.

• Physical cash withdrawals.

• Transaction history settings.

🛡️ Modded Item Compatibility & Protection

GroundZero Marketplace supports vanilla and registered modded items, including their serialized item data.

The system includes safeguards for unavailable items, persistent transaction records, and interrupted operations.

When items from removed mods are no longer registered, affected Marketplace entries can be identified and cleaned up.

Always back up your server before removing mods. Marketplace protection does not guarantee the safety of unrelated world, inventory, or chunk data.

📦 Dependencies & Requirements

Required:

• Minecraft 1.20.1

• Minecraft Forge

• GroundZero Marketplace installed on both server and client

Economy integrations:

• GroundZero Phone: Required when using physical cash items, including $1, $10, $100, and $1,000 banknotes.

• Vault: Optional integration for compatible hybrid servers using a plugin-based economy.

• Vault-compatible economy provider: Required when Vault payments are enabled.

Optional loot integration:

• Lootr: Supported for valuable item loot generation.

For physical cash-based servers, install GroundZero Phone alongside GroundZero Marketplace. For compatible hybrid servers, Vault can provide the economy integration instead.

🚀 How It Works

For Players

Visit a Marketplace NPC to open the trading interface.

Use the Player Market to purchase items from other players or list your own items for sale.

Visit the Gun, Farm, or Valuable Trader to trade supported items directly.

All Marketplace earnings, purchased items, and returned listings are managed through your Portfolio.

For Server Owners

Install the mod on your server and clients, configure your preferred economy integration, and adjust trader prices to match your server's progression.

Use the included 50 valuables to create additional incentives for exploration, scavenging, and looting.

GroundZero Marketplace is suitable for zombie survival, roleplay, PvP, economy, and other modded multiplayer servers.
