Infinity Skills

Class skill trees for Infinity Start. Every class gets its own tree, unlocked automatically the moment you pick your class. Earn skill points by fighting, shape your build across three paths, and awaken one Supreme power that replaces your starting skill.

✦ Features

🌳 One tree per class

• 15 unique trees, one for each Infinity Start class: Arcanist, Geomancer, Tidecaller, Stormcaller, Bastion, Gladiator, Gunslinger, Assassin, Monk, Summoner, Gambler, Wretch, Dragon Tamer, Hunter and Paladin.
• The tree follows your class. If you change class (Born Again / reroll), the tree changes too and every point is refunded.

🔱 Three paths and one Supreme

• Each tree has a Core node and 3 paths, each with its own playstyle.
• Nodes have multiple ranks, branching choices and a Keystone: a powerful node that often comes with a trade-off.
• At the end of every path waits a Supreme ability. You can only awaken one. It replaces your starting G skill with something far stronger.
• A full tree costs more points than you can earn, so every build is a real choice.

Nodes go beyond flat stats:

• Stealth: enemies see you less, and far-away mobs lose track of you while you sneak
• Full dodge, damage reflection, executes and lifesteal
• Conditional bonuses: in darkness, while sneaking, at low health, while riding, in water, in the rain, when surrounded…
• Stacking buffs on hit, on kill or when you get hurt
• Auras that weaken enemies or empower allies
• Death prevention, out-of-combat regeneration and cooldown reduction
• Companion bonuses for pet and summon classes

💥 45 Supreme abilities

Meteors, earthquakes, vortexes, lightning chains, dashes, sanctuaries where no ally can die, arrow storms, Dead Eye, spectral wolves, iron golems, death marks, transformations, berserker rage, undying stands, a cosmic gamble… each with its own particles, colors and sounds.

Supreme damage scales with your class (attack damage, spell power, bullet damage, arrow damage, luck…) plus a share of the target's max health, reduced on bosses, so it stays relevant in the late game.

📈 Skill points from combat

• Gain skill XP by killing creatures. Stronger enemies give more, and bosses give a lot.
• Every level needs more XP than the last.
• Kills by your pets and summons count, and nearby teammates get a share.
• Passive mobs and spawner mobs give reduced XP, so farming won't carry you.

⚙️ Configuration

Everything is editable in config/infinityskills:

• progression.json: max level, XP curve, kill XP formula, boss/passive/spawner multipliers, party sharing and respec cost
• trees/<class>.json: every node, path, effect and Supreme, fully data-driven. You can even add trees for custom classes.

Apply changes in-game with /infinityskills reload.

Respec: use the Reset button on the skill screen. The first reset is free; the next ones cost experience levels (configurable).

📦 Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+
• Infinity Start 1.0.5+ (required)
• Install on both client and server.

Optional: Apothic Attributes, Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, Ars Nouveau, Summonity, Scorched Guns, Geomancy Plus and Saint's Dragons. The default trees use their attributes and items when they are present.
