About
Description
This mod replaces the default item and experience pickup sounds with the emerald pickup sound from Minecraft Dungeons.
Unlike a standard resource pack, this mod processes audio dynamically based on how quickly items are collected. When multiple items are picked up at once, the sounds are queued sequentially rather than playing simultaneously. The audio pitch increases as the collection combo continues, creating an accelerated speed effect. Once the combo ends, a heavy "Burst Finale" sound effect plays. This sound signals that the combo window has reset.
The mod features two detection modes:
Broad (Default): Intercepts the pickup sound effect itself. This replaces the audio for all actions using that sound, including collecting arrows or tridents. While less immersive, it offers maximum compatibility with external mods, such as those adding item magnets.
Strict: Functions exclusively when the player collects experience or items. Actions like picking up arrows or tridents retain their default sounds. This mode is also stack-size aware, meaning collecting a large item stack automatically initiates a combo proportional to the stack size.
This mod is highly configurable.
