Before you could download 20 different mods, each adding a new group of animals, creatures, and other fauna to the game, Dr Zhark's Mo' Creatures was the option.

Despite being now ancient and outdated, this used to be the pinnacle of minecraft animal mods. It had a complex installation and setup process, but once you got it set up it could transform any minecraft world to a more immersive, more realistic world.

Highly recommend for those on older versions.

Description

Mo' Creatures is a mod created by DrZhark. It was created on November 17, 2010. A mod that adds over 40 new mobs to your game, it provides many new animal and monster mobs, as well as the ability to tame and ride some.
