About

Description

MoreLavaTFC adds three new lava types to TerraFirmaCraft — Felsic, Intermediate, and Mafic — and gives them a simple but dynamic interaction system.

When different lavas come into contact, they follow a natural transformation cycle:

Felsic → Intermediate → Mafic → Vanilla Lava → Felsic

Which means:

  • Felsic converts Intermediate
  • Intermediate converts Mafic
  • Mafic converts Vanilla Lava
  • Vanilla Lava can convert Felsic back into Vanilla
  • …and the cycle continues

When these lava types touch water, they harden into the appropriate TerraFirmaCraft rock type, making terrain formation feel more natural and geologically consistent.

In world generation, the lava of a chunk would be replaced with lava from this mod based on the lowest igneous rock type. If the rock layer is not igneous, it will still be vanilla lava.

The mod keeps vanilla lava’s visuals, particles, fire behavior, and ambience, so everything still feels familiar — just with more variety.
