Description

Description

Sentient is a treasure enchantment for swords. When you take fatal damage while holding the sword, the enchantment activates instead of you dying.

Your body is saved and you enter spectator mode. An AI-controlled spirit, using your gear and items, spawns to continue the fight. If the spirit clears all nearby threats, you will regain control of your body with health proportional to what the spirit had left. If the spirit dies, you die with it.

Features

  • Eight Unique Personalities: The spirit has one of eight personalities, each with different stat buffs, combat behaviors, and dialogue.

  • Berserker: A whirlwind of rage focused on pure offense and speed.
  • Guardian: An unyielding bastion of defense and regeneration, built to outlast any foe.
  • Trickster: A nimble and evasive fighter who dashes around the battlefield.
  • Sage: A wise combatant, balancing potent magical resistance and steady regeneration.
  • Hunter: A swift and deadly predator, relentlessly pursuing its target.
  • Paladin: A righteous champion of the light, smiting evil with holy resilience.
  • Shadow: A silent and lethal assassin, striking with deadly force from the darkness.
  • Phoenix: A resilient spirit of fire and rebirth, regenerating health with incredible speed.
  • Dynamic Dialogue: The spirit communicates its status and thoughts via in-game chat, with its messages depending on its personality.

  • Custom HUD & Visuals: While spectating, a custom HUD shows the spirit's health. The awakening and reversion events feature unique particle effects.
  • Admin Commands: Commands are available to set the spirit's personality, name, and skin, as well as reset the enchantment's cooldown for testing.

How to Use

  1. Find the Sentient enchantment in loot chests or from villagers.

  2. Apply it to a sword.

  3. When you take fatal damage, the spirit will spawn to fight for you.

  4. If it survives the encounter, you regain control.
