About

Description

Adds three wonderful suits from the Spider-Man comics and movies. You'll need a couple resources to craft them, but they aren't too grindy. Each one will increase your stats, disable all forms of fall damage, and hide the user's gamer tag and skin completely.

Also adds the suits' respective Slingers, which have different abilities whether they're in the main- or off-hand.

--SUITS--

The first is the classic Spider Suit, made mostly of webbed blocks, which are in turn made of cobwebs. You can craft cobwebs with regular string, so it's a good idea to get some sort of spider farm running if you want all that this mod offers.

You'll also need iron armour and some red/blue dye (depending on the piece). Since it can be a challenge to get in certain worlds, you can now craft redstone into red dye (similar to lapis lazuli).

The Classic Spider-Man suit gives buffs to speed, strength, and jump boost, but is quickly outclassed by the alternative suits.

Next up is the Symbiote Suit, seen on screen in Spider-Man 3. To craft it, you'll need to go to the end. On the outer islands, you can often find symbiote ore, which you can use to upgrade the Classic Suit. (Note that this is irreversible, so if you want the Classic Suit or any other suits, you'll need multiple suits. This goes for every other suit, too.)

The symbiote suit sacrifices speed and regen capabilities in exchange for much increased resistance, armour, and attack power, the latter of which is increased while sprinting.

Finally, we have Miles Morales' suit. This suit is made of Venom Samples, a material comprised of multiple poisonous materials (now's a good time to mention that it's recommended you use JEI), and black and red dye. Black dye can also now be crafted from coal, because that's how that actually works and I'm tired of chasing squids.

Miles' Suit has extra emphasis on movement and regeneration. It also has the unique trait of giving the wearer a minute of invisibility once the suit is taken off, in reference to his camouflage ability.

--SLINGERS--

First up is the classic 1962 Spider-Man Slinger. It's crafted with red and blue dye, like the suit, and also requires on iron ingot and one string. It consumes string as ammo.

When in the off-hand, like the other slingers, you can fire it to teleport- er, swing over to a block or entity. This is a universal power, all slingers have it.

If fired in the main-hand, it will slow any entity it hits for a short amount of time, allowing you to catch up to feeling opponents or simply stop people without killing them. If it instead hits a block, it will convert that block to a webbed block, no matter what it is. (Yes, I know, this allows for infinite string and ammo, but if you don't have a bunch of string at this point, then what are you doing?)

Next up, the Symbiote Slinger. Made from black dye, symbiote, a netherite ingot and string, it's quite expensive. It has slightly more durability then the Classic Slinger, and consumes Symbiote instead of String.

It has the same off-hand capabilities as every other slinger. In the main-hand, it can give any enemy it hits Poison, Wither, Weakness and Blindness for a short time, and convert any block to a Symbiote Block. (Again, yes, infinite ammo, but Symbiote isn't used for anything else so it's still fairly balanced.)

Finally, Miles' Slinger. It's made of black and red dye, a gold ingot, Venom Samples, and string. It has the most durability, but at the trade-off of using Venom Samples as ammo.

Again, like all slingers, you can use it to move around in your off-hand. In main-hand, it's capabilities shine. It severely poisons any entity it hits (I mean, the webs are made of venom) and converts blocks to Webbed Blocks. This means that it is currently the only slinger without the ability to generate ammo.
