So let me say it properly:

WELCOME TO TAWKY’S ODYSSEY – PART I: THE SEA OF STARS.

Yes, it’s a mouthful.
No, I’m not apologizing.

When I do something for the first time, I don’t hold back — and neither does this mod.

This adds a lot of weird, living, occasionally unhinged stuff to Minecraft, so instead of pretending this fits neatly into a paragraph, let’s switch to the things you should know right away.

📻 Tawky, the Talking Radio

This mod adds a talking radio block named Tawky.

To craft him, you’ll need:

- 5 Iron Ingots
- 2 Copper Nuggets
- 1 Compass
- 1 Lightning Rod

Tawky can:

- talk to you (yes, really)
- play music and skits
- broadcast stations
- act as a utility block
- run on redstone dust

Out of redstone? No problem.
Tawky can convert redstone into Voidstone Dust, which can also be used to keep the music alive.

Now here’s where things get interesting.

You can place Voidstone Dust on the ground and ignite it using:

- a redstone torch
- flint & steel
- an amethyst shard

Each ignition method does something different.

Try combining Voidstone Dust with sugar or honey — they ignite differently and react in unique ways depending on how you light them.

Experiment.
Carefully.

📺 Tawky Has a Friend (It’s a TV)

Tawky isn’t alone.
He has a TV friend.

You can craft a working Television (yes, it actually plays content) using:

- 2 Stained Black Glass Blocks
- 1 Spyglass
- 1 Compass
- 3 Iron Ingots
- 2 Copper Nuggets

The TV supports:

- stations
- visuals
- synced audio

This is real in-game playback, not an overlay or trick.

🛠 Create Your Own TV & Radio Content

Want to make your own TV channels, movies, or radio stations?

I’ve released the official creator tools used to build Tawky’s in-game TV and radio systems.

With these tools, you can:

- convert videos into Minecraft-ready TV movies
- sync animation timing perfectly to audio
- automatically split long videos so they stay performant
- build custom TV stations
- add your own radio stations and broadcasts

IMPORTANT:
These tools require the Tawky’s Odyssey mod to function in-game.
They generate assets for the mod — they do not play videos on their own.

🌊 A Very Important Warning (and Invitation)

Do not let Tawky get wet.

- Keep him out of oceans.
- Keep him out of the rain.

But.

Tawky loves late-night boat rides.

You should bring him with you sometime.
Preferably at night.
On the open water.

The stars are thirsty for tears.
Maybe that’s just balance.

🌌 What Else Is In Here?

Along the way, you may:

- cry (emotionally or mechanically)
- get angrier at dolphins than you ever expected
- underestimate chickens (you will regret this)
- observe the life cycle of an alien ecosystem
- forget what “up” and “down” mean
- find a new home for a misunderstood species
- adopt a sentient cube of blue goo

Some systems explain themselves.
Some don’t.

Watching what happens is part of the experience.

🚧 Development Notes

This is my first mod.

There’s still polish to do and things to improve, but it felt important to let it exist now — alive, weird, and growing.

This mod will receive updates.

Tawky himself is a character from a show I’m producing alongside some incredibly talented voice actors — you’ll hear them on the radio and see them on the TV.

- a pink slime prison dimension
