About this mod
This mod attempts to bring Slender to Minecraft in more of the style of Slender: The Eight Pages.
This mod adds three new mobs to the game, a new biome, a new wood type, and new structures for the new biome. It also adds a new Slender gamemode, which can be turned on through the gamerule options when creating a world.
If you find any issues or bugs, let me know in the comments or on the GitHub.
How the mobs work
Slenderman: Slender will spawn primarily in the new biome "Tainted Forest" and will stalk the player. Slender will become faster with each page the player collects in his forest; however, if the player obtains 8 or more pages, he will no longer be a threat to the player within his forest and will try to seek out the player outside of the forest.
Proxy: The Proxy is an entity that will appear when a player dies to or near Slenderman and is essentially Slenderman's minion. The Proxy will try to kill the player if the player gets close enough, but they have bad eye sight, so if you run far enough away, they will lose track of you.
Hoodie: Hoodie is a neutral entity that can stalk the player, try to hit the player, or just watch the player; however, if the player gets too close, Hoodie will run away.
Biomes and Items
Tainted Forest: The Tainted Forest is a dark and shadowy forest that can spawn in the overworld. Once the player enters the biome, it will rapidly become night, and the player will be affected by slowness.
Tainted Wood: The Tainted wood variant is tougher than regular wood and much harder to break.
Page(s): Pages can be found inside the Tainted Forest at landmarks or special structures. If the player gathers all 8 pages, Slender will try to seek them out outside of his forest.
Flashlight: The flashlight is a new craftable item that will light up the area where the player is looking when switched on. (Warning: the flashlight can cause light bugs when bordering on chunks.)
If you find the sounds in the mod to be too loud then you can turn them down, the sounds are a part of the "Jukebox/Note Block" sound option in the options menu.

(This mod is made for Forge.)
