Description
Welcome to Villager-INC Geology, where all your crystalline needs have been addressed!
Adding more geode structures, crystal types, and gem sources than ever before.

Villager-INC Geology is a world-gen based mod which adds 4 new geode variants your underground caverns. Each new geode variant has unique crystal textures and drops, and typically occur in two sizes. Not only that, but many of these geodes are protected by unusual defences...
In addition to these additional crystal types, players now have access to the Geologist's Table and new villager trades, which they can use with these new crystal shards and existing amethyst shards to earn precious materials.
While Villager-INC Geology is part of the Villager INC series, none of the other mods are required to load or use this mod.
V.0.2 Update: Fixed world-gen issue which caused geodes to spawn on surface.
Ruby Geodes:

Ruby geodes shimmer with a bright red sheen and sprout regular ruby crystals. Ruby Blocks emit a Redstone-signal of 7, allowing you to use them as a medium signal source.
But not is all as it seems within ruby geodes; Hidden among the ruby blocks are Unstable Ruby Blocks, which will explode if destroyed by a player. Be careful where you dig!
Topaz Geodes:

Topaz geodes are covered in a thin layer of crystalized amber, giving them their golden shine. Inside you'll find both Topaz Clusters and Desert Roses - crystals which can also be used as flowers!
But this ancient crystallised sap has also attracted the attention of some other buzzing critters. Cavern Aphids have made their nests in the walls of these geodes; Get too close to them, and they'll break out and attack you!
Fortunately these wasps have a sweet tooth for Crystallised Beeswax! Click on them with some of this beeswax, and they might become a little more friendly.
Emerald Geodes:

Emerald geodes glow with a dull green light. These geodes tend to be the largest of all. Stalactites and stalagmites of Emerald Prisms sprout from their walls as Emerald Clusters grow around them.
But something unnatural slumbers inside these geodes; At the centre of each geode inside a prism pillar is a single Soul Prism. Soul prisms act like spawners, spawning up to 10 zombie villagers inside the geode when approached by players. You'll have to fight your way through this undead horde to reach the gems inside.
Carbon Geodes:

Carbon geodes grow around a small pool of carbon-enriched spring water, and display a brilliant blue lustre.
The diamond-like Carbon Clusters which grow around these geodes very very sharp though! Try to walk through them and you might get scratched! Even mining their blocks can sometimes shatter them and hurt you.
Geologist's Table & Villager Trades:

The Geologist's Table is a crafting station which allows you to extract resources from Crystal Shards. Holding shards in your main-hand and right-clicking on the table will consume 1 shard, and have a change to drop resource of the corresponding type:
- Amethyst Shards will frequently drop quartz
- Ruby Shards will frequently drop redstone
- Topaz Shards will sometimes drop gold nuggets or glowstone
- Emerald Shards will rarely drop emeralds
- Carbon Shards will rarely drop diamonds
Villagers now have a small chance to buy crystal shards and rocks for emeralds:
- Clerics will buy amethyst shards and desert roses
- Stonemasons will buy ruby shards
- Cartographers will buy topaz shards
- Librarians will buy emerald shards
- Armorers will buy carbon shards
