Cisco's Fantasy Medieval RPG [Ultimate]

If you like good progression, game balance, a cohesive theme, any form of logic or thought put into your modpacks, this is not for you.

Despite the fact that this RPG has custom mods, it still feels worse than a kitchen sink you could cook up in ten minutes. The sum of its parts are vastly inferior to the array of good mods included in it, which barely manage to salvage any reputation the pack has.

It also markets itself as an "RPG" without understanding what an RPG even is. This is a mere stat check of a modpack.

if this modpack just didnt have apotheosis it would already be MUCH, MUCH better

The entire modpack revolves around upgrading your gear through Apotheosis Gems. You need an absurd amount of XP to upgrade everything. Youre always either so undergeared that everything oneshots you or you're completely op and oneshot everything and take no damage. Damage is obscure and hard to understand, the UI fights you and is generally unintuitive. You dont actually have to fight bosses to upgrade your gear for the most part. You build a mob farm, farm the gems, materials and levels you need to max out your gear. Armor is extremely stupid as that the higher the incoming hit is the worse your armor becomes meaning vs high lvl monsters armor is basically worthless and all that matters is flat dmg reductions through effects or flat max HP. The passive skilltree is unbalanced af too. All that matters is HP. Its generally pretty boring imo and the mods dont create one coherent experience. Overall I dont recommend playing this pack as there are much better packs out there. Ive heard the new version Dragonfyre is supposed to be better..

I was introduced via utube video and I fell in love with it and a lot of time in this. But unfortunately the late game progression is not that good. Like uh I crafted syvill or sylivv set whatever it is called and I basically became unkillable though I did not get a problem with that but the thing is that the deus interface(i think it's called that) in the quest book is the bosses part and literally I hate it. The early bosses are cool but I literally one shot them and they don't scale well. I literally have to search for hours on end to find boss or it's summoning materials or sometimes I can't even find it and got to use cheats moreover the explorers compass is not even that accurate I don't like how late game stuff is locked strickly to end even best enchantings tuff is locked to end if u play and get to end it will get too boring and this is too unoptimised and unbalanced aesthetically it ain't good at all I absolutely hate the everbright and ever dawn dimension in combination with this mod(they re good but not good combined with other mods they should be played solo tbh)

It's a really fun pack with a lot of OP things. It's kinda cheesable to be honest, and many items are just so powerful that other things become kinda useless. The early to mid game was really fun with all the dimensions and bosses, but the end game is kinda whatever (could use better balancing. I was one just shotting most things).

There's even a cool custom mod for this pack so that's a plus
