About

Description

The year is 2069. It's been nearly 60 years since Minecraft was first released, and almost 50 since you last played it. A lot has changed.

Every time a new version of Minecraft is released, some friends and I set up a server to explore all the new content. The best part about this game is getting to see what's changed, what you can do now, and yelling at your mates about the new animal they added that you just found. But Mojang only releases a new version maybe once a year - that's just not enough content. We could wait for 1.17, 1.18, 1.19... or we could travel to the future and bring back version 1.69.1 instead.

This is a modpack designed to feel like what Vanilla Minecraft might feel like after many, many updates. It's Vanilla Plus, but so much has changed it's more like Vanilla Plus Plus Plus Plus. Explore the world and find all the new structures added in Strongholds and Stoneholms (release 1.18). Talk to your friends while meeting all the new animals added in Critters and Conversation (release 1.26). Dive deep into the ocean to discover a whole new world of aquatic life from the Atmosphere Aquatic update (release 1.33). There's so much new to explore - why not jump right in.

Notes:

This pack is still a work in progress. There's a lot of minor quality of life improvements to make, lore to flesh out, advancements to add and tutorials to build. The goal is to create a list of each new update from version 1.18 to version 1.69, cover all of the changes involved, and make this feel as much like a future version of Minecraft as possible.
