This modpack claims to be about pressing a button, and after close inspection, i can confirm it indeed is about pressing a button. 10/10 experience.

One of the best modpacks I’ve ever played and the community is so nice, I might be glazing but I don’t care… if I could give it a higher rating I would.

To be candid, this pack is a perfectly good pack. There are plenty of questionable balancing decisions and the zombies aren't particularly interesting to engage with, but hey, it's a pack where you can shoot zombies and watch them fall apart. It's hard to go wrong with that.

Looting is pretty satisfying and is (rather unfortunately) the easiest and quickest way to obtain anything in the game. It's a bit incomplete, which is to be expected since I played the beta version, and it could definitely do well with some gameplay improvements, but if you're looking for something to play for a few evenings, this pack is something you should give consideration to.

I don't know when it happened but recent updates have rendered this pack entirely unplayable. V1.5.9-V1.6 all ran perfectly fine and sometime after that, something must have happened to completely kill performance. When I played extensively before, it ran well for what it was. I had to crank down my settings a bit, but I still ran it at a stable 100+ FPS under normal circumstances and 60+ FPS when near a lot of stuff. Nowadays a fresh, empty world is running at anywhere from 5-70FPS with constant drops down to 0. It is genuinely shocking how bad performance has gotten, and although this modpack has always been behind it's competitors in terms of optimization, it was never outright unplayable. Now, it's completely impossible to do anything thanks to the constant lag. (and yes, I've checked my NVidia settings).

I wouldn't install this until the performance issues are fixed.

Peak modpack, it's rich in content, while trying to be as intuitive and fun as possible.
The devs are actively listening to suggestions and the community is willing to help.
The in-game guides are great and a lot is custom made, the pack fits for a lot of playstyles whether it's a slow playthrough, with tech, exploration, combat, or even building.
The rpg part of the pack has been well thought out, the classes system is logic and extremely rewarding from early game to extreme end game for those who want challenges. Some things are currently experiencing the Great Rebalance.
The custom things are as polished as possible, and the pack's development is not finished. More has yet to come in future updates. Also the story is juicy af if we get into details.
I'm afraid to say that almost nobody finished it in a legit world (I didn't too), except maybe some very specific experienced players: even after 500 hours there's still stuff to do.

Its okay i guess

I wouldnt listen to most of the reviews as they are either non applicable, like this being a medieval pack when its not, cries about balance coming from people going exploit builds that get fixed, or crashes that dont happen since 2 years ago when they were swiftly patched, and even about things that are simply not true. There have been many attacks on youtube on prominence from other packs which is flattering at most. It is truly saddening this happens over a mc modpack. Whilst i personally have to say this pack is definetly not without flaws, i think most of the things generally pointed out are because either people are misinformed or asked AI to write a review, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Whilst yes i work on the pack, i am also the person that is the most player oriented. I take care of the issues, dev issues and so forth. I know what people have issues with and we are working tirelessly on fixing them. No modpack is without issues. We have released plenty of bugfixes, balancing fixes and reworks.

A modern successor to JEI that boasts better performance and features, though many mods are still yet to implement dedicated support. It can piggyback off JEI support though that doesn't always work fully. This can be alleviated by installing TMRV to act as a bridge between JEI compatible mods and EMI internals. In time it's likely that most mods will implement inherent support.

Clutter No More is a mod that lets you change blocks to stairs, slabs, vertical slabs, steps and back by just holding alt. And All stairs, slabs, vertical slabs, and steps merge back together when put in the same slot. I didn't want to add it to my modpack at first because I thought it would break stuff, but it didn't! It worked with every mod perfectly, even compat mods llike wood good! There are several other blocks, vanilla and modded that you can shape into variants, like clayworks glass doors into framed or not-framed variants. Add this mod to all your modded instances, you will not regret it.

I love this mod, it reworks blaze spawners, adds a new upgrade to lavaproof your gear and, best of all, adds a new ominous event to the Nether Fortress. During the ominous event wildfires spawn, they drop a new resource which can be made into a lava conduit that lets you swim and survive in lava. I only wish the way you build the lava conduit was a bit more intuitive.

I was looking for a Vanilla+ jungle temple overhaul that doesn't just make it a generic stone pyramid and this fits the bill. I like how how there are several different interiors so the experience is often different than last time.
