Sairen's DMZ World
Expand your Dragon Ball Minecraft experience with new races, deeper transformations, custom classes and powerful racial systems.
Sairen's DMZ World is an addon mod inspired by an original Dragon Ball tabletop RPG created by a friend of the developer. It builds on that foundation by modifying, expanding and reshaping the Dragon Ball world with new playable options, fresh mechanics and a stronger sense of progression.
This mod is designed as an addon for Dragon Mine Z and DMZ: Overhaul, using their race, class and transformation systems to introduce new content that feels connected to the existing gameplay while adding its own identity.

New Races
Antoranian
Fast, electric and highly adaptable.
Antoranians are a lightning-themed race built around flight, ki control and stance switching. They begin with access to Flight and can even fly without ki, giving them strong mobility from the start.
Their flight speed scales with their current ki, rewarding players who manage their energy carefully. Antoranians can also switch stances through the utility menu or their racial keybind, shifting their combat focus between STR and PWR.
During transformations, Antoranians apply Connected Pulse, a support effect that empowers nearby DMZ party members. It also allows the Antoranian to benefit from both stance effects at the same time, making transformed combat feel more flexible and team focused.
With Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks installed, Antoranians also gain +15% lightning spell resistance.
ZaaraKin
Savage, relentless and built for close combat.
ZaaraKin are a bestial warrior race with a very different approach to ki. Instead of charging ki normally, they gain ki by dealing damage with direct physical attacks.
When their HP drops low enough, ZaaraKin enter Frenzi, a dangerous battle state that makes max ki be equal to max stamina. While Frenzi is active, stamina costs can spend ki first, helping the player keep fighting even under pressure.
ZaaraKin also include beast-themed Super and Legendary transformation lines, giving them a wild and aggressive progression path.
Race Remakes And Racial Skills
Human: Vital Force
Humans receive a new racial identity through Vital Force, giving them faster active ki charging and a powerful emergency state.
When a Human reaches low HP, they activate Adrenaline, temporarily boosting their combat stats. Once Adrenaline ends, the player is briefly knocked out, making the ability powerful but risky.
The cooldown is also combat aware, helping the skill fit more naturally into real fights instead of feeling like a simple timed effect.
Frost Demon: Evolutive Forms
Instead of Changing forms through Super Forms skill, Frost Demons now gain the Evolution skill during character progression. Upgrading Evolution permanently increases their base stats and changes their model through their second, third and final forms.
At Evolution level 5, Frost Demons unlock a toggleable Fifth Form racial action. Their natural forms share mastery, except for stack forms, making their progression smoother and more consistent.
Frost Demons can also equip one extra Ultimate Skill (Skills in DMZ Overhaul have different classifications depending on how powerfull they are, and normally ultimates are limited to 2. Frost Demons can equip 3).
Their Super Potential and Legendary Potential forms apply Body Ki Blaster, an effect that grants PWR based on current STR. This gives Frost Demon transformations a stronger connection between physical strength and ki power.
Namekian: Namek Regeneration
Namekians gain a more active and rewarding regeneration system.
When they are missing enough HP, Namekians can hold Block to regenerate health. This healing consumes stamina equal to the amount of HP restored.
Successful regeneration grants permanent DEF and VIT bonuses based on the restored amount. These bonuses stack into the existing regeneration bonus instead of creating repeated bonus entries, keeping the system cleaner and easier to manage.
Bio-Android: Altered Genetics
Bio-Androids are built around unusual energy management and adaptable genetics. Their model has also been changed to be Human-like, looking like a Human with Android Upgrade.
Their ki does not regenerate normally. Instead, holding charge consumes ki to regenerate HP. Hunger does not decay, though saturation can still decay normally so eating is still beneficial, just not required.
Bio-Androids can restore ki by blocking ki attacks, Ki Fist attacks or Ki Weapon attacks. The restored ki is based on incoming damage. If the restored ki goes beyond maximum ki, the overflow heals HP instead.
During character creation, Bio-Androids choose a Secondary Racial. This can grant compatible traits from other configured races, including:
- Saiyan Zenkai
- Human Adrenaline
- Frost Demon extra Ultimate slot
- Namekian regeneration
- Majin absorption
- Antoranian flight benefits
- ZaaraKin damage to ki conversion
Bio-Android Super Armor and Ultra Armor forms can also use MegaMan Armor Mod cosmetic armor visuals through DMZ Revamp's transformation cosmetic slots, making you take on the technology armors of powerfull warriors from another universe (Megaman is cool :D)
Default Skill Changes
Sairen's DMZ World also adjusts early character progression.
Every created character receives Ki Control level 1 shortly after character creation.
Frost Demons receive Evolution as their race progression skill.
New Classes
Sairen's DMZ World adds its own DMZ Revamp style classes. Each class comes with its own color, base attributes, scaling and configurable passive.
Celestial Fist
Melee and strike damage ignore part of the enemy's defense. This effect becomes stronger as the enemy gets closer to 0 HP.
Supreme Lightning
Ki attacks cost less to fire. Attacks with extra effects still receive a cost reduction, though at a smaller value.
Unbreakable Fortress
Incoming damage is reduced before normal damage calculations, making this class a strong defensive choice.
Ghost Step
Dashing costs less stamina or ki, has a lower cooldown and briefly increases melee or strike damage after dashing. It also improves Perfect Dodge counters based on Speed.
Spiritual Control
Ki regeneration is multiplied while charging a Ki Attack, making this class ideal for players who like controlled, energy focused combat.
Dragon's Fury
Melee, strike and ki damage increase against enemies below the configured HP threshold, default 30%.
Star Destroyer
After landing a Ki Attack, the next Ki Attack deals more damage.
Limit Breaker
Low HP grants Limitless, a temporary stat boosting effect that can refresh through combat before entering cooldown.
Unbeatable Beast
Parrying melee or strike attacks reflects part of the attack damage on the attacker. ZaaraKin using this class can also redirect ki blasts.
No Dojo
At the cost of having no passive and balanced scales and starting attributes, this class has a bรดnus of x1.5 TP, making leveling up much quicker.
Transformation Changes
Sairen's DMZ World expands and refines transformations across several races.
The mod adds custom form defaults for all the races balancing to what they are in the original TTRPG Sairen made.
It also adds Red Saiyan as a Saiyan only form skill, including:
- Saiyan Red
- Blood Saiyan
- Enraged Saiyan
- Berserker Saiyan
Bio-Androids gain Super Armors and Ultra Armors, while Frost Demons gain Super Potential and Legendary Potential.
The mod also adds full display names for custom and remade forms.
Legendary forms now require the Mutant effect to learn or use. Movie saga rewards no longer grant legendary form levels directly, and the Mutant effect is preserved so it cannot be removed accidentally by normal removal behavior.
Namekian Wish
Porunga gains support for unlocking Full Namek Potential.
This wish requires Namekian Super Forms level 3 and unlocks Super Forms level 4. It also grants access to Silver Namekian through the Namekian Giant form line.
Legendary Ki
The "Mutant" effect has been changed in order to match how the Legendary Ki works in the TTRPG of Sairen: It is persistent after Death. The lucky player that get's it will forever have that effect until forcefully removed by commands. Legendary forms has also changed:
- Every race Legendary Forms now Matches their "Super Forms" and are just enhanced versions of it with higher costs.
- Legendary Super Saiyan has it's default configuration file to look like "Super Sonic" instead of Broly (The player in our RPG that got the legendary Ki was a saiyan inspired by Sonic lol. This can be changed in the configs, don't worry).
- You no longer unlock Legendary Forms only with Saga Missions. Instead, you can purchase them like normal Super Forms, but only if you have the Mutant Effect
- If you somehow have Legendary Transformations but not the Mutant Effect, you are unable to transform into them.
This might not be a thing everyone will like, but this mod was made using the rules of the world from Sairen's original TTRPG for Dragon Ball, so it is what it is.
Effects
Sairen's DMZ World introduces several new effects that support its races, classes and transformations.
Adrenaline
A Human emergency combat boost that activates at low HP.
Limitless
The Limit Breaker class boost, granting temporary power during dangerous moments.
Frenzi
A ZaaraKin low HP battle state focused on speed, ki capacity and continued aggression.
High Voltage And Low Voltage
Antoranian stance effects used to shift combat focus.
Connected Pulse
An Antoranian transformation support effect that strengthens nearby DMZ party members and unlocks both stance benefits at once.
Body Ki Blaster
A Frost Demon transformation effect that converts STR scaling into PWR.
Configuration
Many values are generated into configuration files and can be tuned without editing the mod directly.
Racial values are located under:
config/sairens_dmz_world/racials
Race, class and transformation defaults integrate with the config folders used by DMZ and DMZ Revamp.
Class passive values are configurable through the class config system.
Generated defaults are only defaults. Player and server changes are meant to remain editable, making the mod flexible for different playstyles and server setups.
Compatibility Notes
Sairen's DMZ World is built as an addon for Dragon Mine Z and DMZ Overhaul.
It uses DMZ Overhaul's custom class, racial skill and transformation systems, along with its transformation cosmetic armor row for Bio-Android armor visuals.
It also uses MegaMan Armor Mod items for Bio-Android armor cosmetics.
