Description
Colored Netherite, Diamond, Iron and Chainmail Armor With or Without Enchantment Glint
This mod allows a player to enamel their Diamond, Iron and Chainmail armor by covering it with a thin layer of clay and then color the armor applying one or more dyes to it. Further dyes will modify the color. You may dye the armor with mixtures up to 8 dyes per pass.
You can easily remove the dye and restore the armor to enameled, undyed status to start over by placing the armor piece in a crafting grid.
You can also easily scrape the enameling off, returning to normal (with enchantments and any damage) by placing the armor or item in a crafting grid with a piece of gravel.
Any existing damage or enchantments are preserved when enameling or removing enameling from items
Enchantment Glint
Players can toggle whether enchantment glint displays by right clicking enchanted enameled armor in any inventory or armor slot including the hot bar.
Players can also enamel Bows, as well as Iron and Diamond Swords allowing the owner to toggle enchantment glint but these weapons cannot be dyed.
True Colors
Enameled armor has recipes for the colors true blue (Hex #0000FF), true red (#FF0000), true green (#00FF00), true white (#FFFFFF), and true black (#000000).
These additional recipes are handled by adding a mushroom in along with one blue, red, green, white, or black dye and the piece of enameled armor.
Chainmail Recipes
Recipes for chainmail have been added. See the images section or file release notes for the recipes. They should also show up in JEI/NEI but that's not confirmed yet.
Recipe Book Entries
Enameled Weapon and Enameled Iron Armor recipes appear as soon as you get a clay ball.
Crafted Chainmail appears as soon as you get an iron ingot.
Enameled Diamond and Enameled Chainmail pieces appear after you craft the items once.
Language Support
Enameled armor now supports:
es_es.lang (Spanish - Spain)
fr_fr.lang (French - France)
Additional language support as interest warrants (especially if you upload a translation file for your language that looks correct in Google Translate).
