Description

Mechanics Transcendence

Turn the way you play Minecraft into a shape that is uniquely yours.

Mechanics Transcendence is a long-term, server-authoritative progression mod that observes ordinary
play and expresses it through the **Transcendence Prism**. Instead of another conventional skill
menu, the Prism forms a three-dimensional record of what your character has become:

- Height represents depth and mastery within one mechanic.
- Length represents breadth across every mechanic.
- Width represents current effort building toward the next discharge.

A dedicated miner develops a tall, focused Prism. A broad generalist develops a longer, flatter
form. Neither history is erased, and no two players need to grow in the same way.

Sixteen tracked mechanics

Walking, Sprinting, Jumping, Attacking, Mining, Crafting, Smelting, Ranged Combat, Building,
Farming, Fishing, Enchanting, Brewing, Trading, Taming and Breeding, and Swimming and Diving.

Progress is calculated on the logical server from real gameplay events. The system includes
mechanic-specific safeguards for repeated input, low-effort loops, automation, crop replanting,
furnace ownership, and placed-then-broken blocks.

Historical Form and Current Attunement

Your Historical Form permanently preserves everything your player has achieved. If you want to
change direction, Current Attunement lets you declare a limited, multi-day focus. It softens only
the cross-mechanic Length friction for that focus; it does not reset Height, erase history, or make
respecialization free.

Use `/transcendence attune <mechanic>` to choose a focus, or `/transcendence attune off` to stop
displaying it. The original lock period remains in place, preventing constant free switching.

Texture and identity over power creep

Rewards emphasize identity rather than domination:

- mechanic titles such as Delver, Duelist, Artisan, and Fathomer;
- distinct action particles and sixteen rare Height-100 cosmetic auras;
- subtle, capped quality-of-life effects;
- persistent Prism frame colors;
- advancement and Codex unlocks;
- a temporary, purely decorative Architect echo;
- sixteen 16×16 in-hand Prism appearances based on the owner's dominant mechanic.

The reward ladder does not grant currency, loot amplification, stronger armor, weapon damage, or
tradeable progression items.

Discover and build the Prism

Explore for weathered Architect measuring stations and their journal pages. Mine sparse Resonant
Shard Ore, obtain Nether Star Dust from Withers, and construct the Architect's Cutting Table.

A completed station has an Amethyst Block beneath its core and one Resonant Shard Block on each of
its four horizontal sides. With three Resonant Shards, an Amethyst Cluster, and a Nether Star Shard
in your inventory, right-click the completed station while holding a Compass to assemble the Prism.
The first player to use a Prism binds it permanently; progression itself remains stored safely on
the player even if the item is lost.

Multiplayer and customization

- Persistent per-player progression and discharge history
- Offline-aware server leaderboard
- Server-authoritative full and delta synchronization
- Default, Cozy, Marathon, and Custom balance profiles
- Per-mechanic server toggles and configurable progression constants
- Rotating or static high-contrast Prism visualization
- Independent particle and sound accessibility settings
- Synced datapack mechanic definitions and a public addon API
- Standard item models and textures that resource packs can replace

Useful commands include `/transcendence leaderboard`, `/transcendence title`,
`/transcendence frame`, `/transcendence attune`, and `/transcendence echo` after its milestone is
unlocked.

Requirements

- Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.241 or newer for Minecraft 1.21.1
- Java 21
- Installation on both the client and server in multiplayer

There are no third-party mod dependencies. The mod contains its own default assets and data; no
external resource pack or datapack is required.

Installation

1. Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Place the Mechanics Transcendence JAR in the instance's `mods` folder.
3. For multiplayer, install the same JAR on the server and every connecting client.
4. Start the game. Server and client configuration files are generated automatically.

Mechanics Transcendence is an independent community project and is not affiliated with or endorsed
by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
