Heightens immersion considerably! I love seeing the seasons go by, really adds a sense of time to your modpack. Pairs well with other snow and winter mods like Snow Real Magic. Bonus points if you increase the length of day and night.

It's very difficult for me to play modded MC without this mod, it feels integral now. I have lots of memories of basing with friends early game only to move our base quite far, and all of us would grab a chest and run to the new base spot. Something about that feels so immersive and fits right into MC.

Unfortunately for some reason this mod has had so many issues over the years in multiple MC versions. Something always happens to break with it or a mod is incompatible. Many of these issues have been fixed overtime but I'm always on edge when including this in a modpack. Make sure to do some testing.

Finally, a music mod for 1.12 that does everything and is very stable! The GUI is super clean and easy to use, setup is a little bit of a learning curve but honestly not bad! Does everything you need it to and more, even looping tracks at certain stages. If you're still using any other music mod for 1.12, definitely switch to Music Triggers.

Oh man did this modpack draw me in when I saw the initial nihil dimension, but the moment I got onto Earth and realized I wouldn't be going further than that in regards to universe building, I just dropped it. If you've never played modded Minecraft before then this might be fun but as the modpack currently is, it just feels very generic and doesn't really stand out. I wouldn't recommend playing it as it currently is.

It has the right amount of bosses to unlock the better gear, perfect for people who dont like tech modpacks and like rpg-like combat, it has its bugs but you can fix them very easy

very wild modpack with some memories mod like divine rgp 2,thauma ,... . The main quetsline is kinda sy but you can explore it on your own

Uniquely from other modpacks, this one felt like a true journey (divine "journey" lol) to me. The progression line is perfectly constructed, and even the tiny details, like Atricos writing little messages in every quest, made me feel closer to the core of the pack than just the gameplay. Played with a friend and had so much fun exploring dimensions (especially DivineRPG which is set up in an awesome way), building, and quivering with excited disbelief that we would need thousands of something we just spent hours obtaining. This is a great pack for those looking for an adventure and playing through what feels like one's own fantastical story.

TLDR - There better be a Divine Journey 3 or else i will

Greg tech new horizons is possibly one of the hardest gaming challenges you could ever participate in. It’s possible to count the number of people who’s beaten it on your hands, as it’s a several thousand hour grind as you deal with an ever growing and tangled factory.

However, it’s the very grind that drags this down. GTNH can often go at a glacial pace, and while it is usually ignored by doing things like working on magic, base building, expanding production of certain materials, often times it seems as if it’s testing your patience rather then skill. If you’re in for the long haul, you’ll love GTNH and it’s endgame. If you’re not, play Nomifactory or Super syemetry, they are far shorter and less grindy packs with still a great deal of complexity to challenge you.

This modpack is honestly one of the best tools for any player wanting to get into the tech based modpacks. It spells it out confusing and weird concepts in plain English, and holds the new players hand as they get used to so many things that’s second nature to more experienced players.
