super unbalanced but you can fight the parasites adding some other mods that adds powerful tools
the evolution system and enemies designs are awesome

A lot of bosses and stuff to do, saddly even after all these years, the mod hasn't been changed one bit but at least is being ported to newer versions

It's a great mod that adds its own dimension that is full of content with cool boss fights that have their own interesting mechanics and gimmicks.

The progression system guides you to where you should go to next to unlock a biome and thus the structure with the bosses. You can opt out of the progression if you so desire.

Art-wise, it keeps up with Minecraft aesthetics for sure and I recommend the new textures if playing on more modern versions as it fits better.

The only downside is that it's currently unfinished as the Final Castle still lacks a boss and some of the structures do look outdated but the mod is very promising still.

This is a classic mod I still enjoy very much to this day. It's still under active development, which I find great considering how there are many great classic mods that have been abandoned. However, there are still some features yet to be developed (such as the much anticipated final boss).
In terms of the gameplay, the dimension as a whole is really nice and the boss battles are very fun.
In terms of aesthetics, I love the original Minecraft aesthetic, so it's great that The Twilight Forest follows the same style. In addition to that, everything the mod adds looks beautiful.
In terms of performance and stability, I have only really played the mod in the 1.12.2 version for a long time (I plan to play the newer versions eventually), and it's not that good on its own, but the Phosphor mod can easily fix that in 1.12.

Being centred around Modern Industrialization, this pack contains many features one could consider "greggy". However, I find that there are a lot of distractions from the central theme. Create is used once at the beginning of the pack and then is left option for the rest of it. Overpowered enchants like Fortune X are easily accessible in the pack, resulting in it being entirely viable to skip a bunch of factory buildings and instead, just get one OP enchant. However, the pack is still quite fun to play if you ignore these small but many progression kinks.

This pack was awesome i spent about 150 ingame days finishing it by completing every single quest it was the most fun i got from a modpack ever

I'm only two hours in and I'm already loving it. This modpack ships with a map of sorts, with custom builds integrated into the terrain and villages. A story narrative drives the progression, and it's full of hilariously dry humor I had to fight a ship captain named Johnny Depth xD.
One thing I really love is that there are mod tutorials build into many of the structures you find, which gives players an interactive way of learning the mod's mechanics. I never gave much thought to pneumaticraft, but after seeing some of the builds and content in action, I'm very intrigued.
The aesthetic of the builds is also really neat, and many of the structures have portions that are gated until you gain access to stuff later on. Kind of reminds me of games like Subnautica in that regard.
Anyway, highly recommend. I love story driven packs with NPC, and this is one modpack that uses CNPC very well.

This mod has the best models I have seen in 1.7.10, but it also means it's gonna lag
This mod has a lot of Guns, Ammo and props but that's not that many recipes to make them, please update the recipes.

First of all, this review mainly targets the 1.12.2 and below versions of CraftTweaker.

CraftTweaker has awesome features helping you create the modpack you want to create. It has tons of options like replacing ingredients in every recipe, which can be used to allow plug and play with some mods even in total conversion modpacks.

It has an awesome documentation that, unlike KubeJS (at least from what I could find), also covers 1.12.2 and other versions. What's even better about CT is that it still gets updated on older versions.

I have to remove one star for gameplay since you have to restart your modpack every time you change something in order for it to take effect on 1.12, which CT blames Minecraft for, but there are some other mods which apparently can still reload on this version.

This pack has been my favorite for many years now, with its balanced challenges and great selection of lesser-known mods. Is a bit grindy in the beginning, as well as the end, and the desert gets boring to look at after a while, but it still provides a fun experience. (Note that I have only ever been as far as the dream world from Witchery, but it was fun figuring things out.)
