Atmospheric improvements (26.1.2 Fabric)
Renders the overlay layer of your skin as little 3D blocks instead of a flat texture.
Wide variety of environmental sounds based on where you are, e. g. wind, flowing water, seagulls, rustling leaves.
More dynamic, variable and arguably significantly more beautiful clouds that still look 'blocky'.
Connects textures of nearby blocks together to create smoother visuals! For example, a continuous wall of glass no longer has borders on every block. Remember to activate the default resource pack that comes with the mod to see the effects.
Makes explosions look much better and more cartoon-ish – like a massive fireball.
Items in your inventory now emit custom themed particles when dragging them around or (based on your configuration options) even when hovering over them.
Instead of hovering upright in their item form, dropped items now physically lie on the ground using their actual 3D models.
Changes the look of the in-game numbers (e. g. on item stacks) to a more unique font; from the Create mod, to be precise.
There are now significantly more particles for various actions and particles also have physics interactions now, e. g. they can be swept away by water. Looks amazing, give it a try.
Rain is less visually overwhelming and instead looks a little prettier; it also no longer falls straight down but is actually angled.
This mod is not for everyone because it may feel somewhat nauseating; but it couples your camera to your actual player model's had, so it rotates, bobs and yaws with your head. Works with player animation resource packs and mods such as Fresh Animations or Better Combat.
About
This stack contains various client-side visual and atmospheric improvement mods I love when playing on vanilla SMPs.
This does not contain mods providing any (significant) gameplay advantages. Mods listed here are likely to be allowed on servers with a reasonable ruleset.
This also does not contain libraries, resource pack tools, fixes, performance improvements or any other mods of that sort.
Since ModDex only supports mods and modpacks, this also does not contain resource packs.
