Description
Cobblemon Hug
Sometimes you don’t want to battle your Pokémon you just want to give them a hug.
Cobblemon Hug adds a new Hug option directly to Cobblemon’s Pokémon interaction wheel.
The animation adapts to the Pokémon’s size and shape. Small Pokémon can be picked up or hugged while kneeling, tiny Pokémon receive a facedown ground hug, wide Pokémon use an open arm embrace, and large Pokémon can receive belly, leg, or high reaching hugs.
Features
- A Hug option in the normal Cobblemon interaction wheel
- Smooth approach, hug, and recovery animations
- Automatic animations for small, wide, tall, flying, serpentine, and giant Pokémon
- Special animations for Pokémon such as Pikachu, Stonjourner, Snorlax, Wooloo, and many others (more to come)
- Pokémon plays cry, blushes, and get heart particles when hugged
- Hugs increase friendship
- Configurable friendship and cooldowns
Some Pokémon may also react to physical contact. For example, certain electric Pokémon can give the player a small shock, especially cold Pokémon may briefly chill them, and some ghostly Pokémon can cause a short darkness effect. These reactions are brief, configurable, and intended to give unusual Pokémon more personality.
It also includes specially designed animations for Pokémon whose shapes need something more personal such as hugging Stonjourner’s leg or picking up Pikachu before gently placing it back down.
