Summary
Configurable block drops for DragonMineZ Ki attacks, with ore filtering and performance safeguards.
DMZ Ki Drops
DMZ Ki Drops is an unofficial addon for DragonMine Z that changes how blocks destroyed by Ki attacks handle item drops.
By default, DragonMineZ can directly remove terrain destroyed by certain Ki attacks without producing normal block drops. DMZ Ki Drops adds configurable behavior so players and modpack authors can decide what should be preserved.
Features
Three drop modes
DELETE
Uses the original DragonMineZ behavior. Destroyed blocks are removed without drops.
DROP_RARE
Only important blocks produce drops. By default, blocks in the forge:ores tag are preserved, allowing many modded ores to work automatically.
DROP_ALL
All blocks eligible for DragonMineZ Ki destruction use normal Minecraft block-drop behavior.
Configurable rare blocks
DROP_RARE supports:
-
Forge ore-tag detection
-
Additional block IDs through
extra_drop_blocks -
A configurable blacklist that takes priority over all drop modes
This makes it possible to preserve ores, containers, modded resources, or any other selected blocks without filling the world with drops from stone and dirt.
Performance protection
Large DragonMineZ attacks can destroy thousands of blocks at once.
DMZ Ki Drops includes a configurable per-projectile drop limit. Once the limit is reached, additional blocks continue to be destroyed using DragonMineZ's original no-drop behavior instead of creating more item entities.
The default limit is 2048 drop-enabled blocks per Ki projectile.
Configuration
The configuration file is generated at:
config/dmzkidrops-common.toml
Main options include:
