A more subtle retro-horror mod which shows in the hallucinations you witness, sounds you may hear and sometimes weird anomalies you might notice.
Closer to herobrine mods in terms of horror, it features a slightly higher amount of aggressivity than the end of herobrine .
What does it offer ?
A nostalgic mod focused on making the world feel slightly off by adding a bunch of small events and structures in your world, while not being too explicit with its horror and leaving some things to the imagination. There isn't much more to add and this mod is best played with little information on it anyways
Important thing I will add : I have noticed that by default when the creature eventually may appear, they have a high chance of actually killing you , which breaks the calmer eerie vibe intended by the mod;
Thankfully the minimal amount of ticks the creature has to stay before despawning can be lowered (the creature's name is Hijitus
in the configs, I recommend dealing with that before playing the mod).
I also think that this creature could have been made to look better (instead of a knocker parody), but honestly I do not play the mod for its monster and more for the provided ambience.
In conclusion
I quite like this mod, it is quite configurable , fits nicely with a more chill type of horror (as opposed to complete survival-horror).
It can work as a one-off experience to betray your friends's trust, or as part of a larger more beta-style horror pack.
