About

Description

Tired of the blinding red hurt flash every time a mob takes damage, especially when using shaders? NoHurtFlash disables the default red overlay and replaces it with a sleek, customizable glow effect — making hurt entities easier to see without ruining the look of your mobs.

❌ Disables the default red hurt flash overlay for all entities (optional)

✨ Adds a glowing outline when an entity is hurt (customizable) / (optional)

✔️ Works with vanilla and modded mobs, including GeckoLib-based entities

💡 Lightweight, client-side only — safe for any server!

Easily change the glow color with the command /nohurtflash

🛠 Compatibility

✅ Forge 1.20.1 & NeoForge 1.21.1

✅ Compatible with GeckoLib 4.8.2+ (Forge) & GeckoLib 4.9.2+ (NeoForge)

✅ Tested with Alex’s Mobs and many other common mods

Developed by Tinnyman

Due to limitations of the vanilla glow effect you may come across instances where entities are visible through blocks! (I tried my best to hide this with a view pass)
