About reputation ranksI played this modpack like 4 months ago with a group of friends and we absolutely loved this modpack. It's a zombie survival modpack with loads of good mods, incredible armors, but the best part about it is a world with interesting places that makes you actually want to explore to and do stuff at!
One the things I find really annoying with Minecraft mods, is that usually they expect you to make a base that you expand and add more to with the tech stuff or the building stuff, and while I love that, its kind of what Minecraft was originally about, but at the same time this modpack with it's focus on exploration and going to other structures to progress is so much more fun and an interesting change from other modpacks. This reason is the same reason why I love games like Terraria.
That being said this modpack isn't without it's issues, and the biggest one is the enemies and bosses, there's definitely some cool different enemies, but the majority of differences are not really interesting stuff like their speed and damage, which isn't all that fun as it makes it so there's pretty much nothing you can do against those enemies except box yourself in and fight where they can't hurt you, I wish there was something the enemies did to make them challenging in a different way that's not unfair to the point you have to resort to boring solutions like I just mentioned. I also kind of dislike how useless it is to actually work on cool new machines, which yes I praise this mod for it's incredible exploration, but I still want a incentive to create a permanent machine spot to support that exploration, all the machines really serve a purpose for is ammo production, since the materials you could get to get better armor is able to be gotten by just exploring, which I find fine, I mean maybe there should be some better balancing with that, but I thing there should be another reason to work on tech that isn't way too important to force you into tech, but still help you with the main exploration.
Either way if you want to try a minecraft modpack, do this one it's good compared to a lot of other ones.

About reputation ranksgame feels great. loot aspect and grind ratios are swell, some minor instability but so far so good. end progression can be a bit more as once you reach a certain point it seems almost boring.

About reputation ranksI’ve jumped from modpack to modpack trying to get into them but they all have the same feel, grind some infinite number of items to get something and then modpack is over.
With this modpack it’s SURVIVE! There’s guns, you can scavenge, live out your zombie fantasy, run around chopping fools up, shoot them, set up moats, a hideaway factory, oil platform living, tunnel rat living. It’s got it all, no worries about an ender dragon to speed run to. No automation for an almighty ingot. Only your wits. Best modpack I’ve played. I just wish I could always make it winter!

About reputation ranksA few tweaks here and there would make the pack better but overall its the most fun ive had in Minecraft in a LONG time. It adds something that I felt was missing. Difficulty. Zombie can dig, you have to prepare and create machines. You WILL die a lot. Its a hard pack

About reputation ranksOverall rating 5/5 because I enjoy it a lot I gave Gameplay, Aesthetics, Performance and Stability a 5/5. Gameplay is great but sadly it sucks u cant make high carbon alloy with create or immersive engineering but I get it, it is an important material for progression so it does make sense that u can get it from mini bosses and bosses themselves. Aesthetics everything is perfect nothing to say about that. Performance and Stability u can't play singleplayer if u have a weaker pc but that is no problem u can host a server and play there by yourself so it wont lag your PC. So I recommend it a lot but of course play it with friends cause it is much easier to progress and etc.

About reputation ranksI loved exploring all the buildings, fighting my way into the wasteland. I liked the horde system, it encourages players to build a base and equip themselves, or you can just fly your way out of it with a plane, both options are perfect. What I did not like is that the mobs get tougher as time goes on. I understand that progressive difficulty is a very common thing in video games but I think there might be better ways to make getting stronger worth it.

About reputation ranksI'm very picky about my post-apocalyptic games, so I honestly wasn't expecting much from this modpack, using Minecraft as a base. I was quite wrong!
This modpack ended up an excellent experience. It made my little loot goblin heart flutter. Each building - each room, in fact - has specific drops appropriate to the location. A restaurant has food loot, a hospital medical stuff, an office building technical stuff. You don't have to craft much of the basics - there's often a place you can loot to get what you need.
That being said, the recipes are fairly well changed. A bit more Create was required than I like, but overall a good balance of Create and Immersive Engineering. My biggest complaint is that some items were gated behind rare or end-game only locations - some of the Refined Storage stuff, for instance, and even the Drawers Drawer Controller I didn't get 'til almost end game.
There are some downsides - for one, I sometimes had bad performance, the FPS dropping quite a lot. Second, some items were a little too common in loot (the golden apples for curing infections and the food - I never once cooked anything for myself, there was so much food loot). Third, I really didn't like that the Spice of Life count reset when you died, without resetting the list of what you'd eaten, so you were limited in how many extra hearts you could get. Fourth, I also started the loooong oil crafting line but ended up not needing it at all. It was a lot of work for what ended up being zero payoff. Finally, there are imo too many guns that are too similar. I really felt like they should have cut the number of guns in half.
However, overall it was a really fun experience. It took me about 80 hours on normal difficulty to get the final cure crafted, and I spent a lot of that time building my base and looting for the fun of it. I didn't finish every quest, but I finished the majority of them.
If you like fighting in Minecraft, this is an excellent modpack for you. If you hate combat, you're going to hate this one. If you love looting abandoned but still dangerous buildings, this is again perfect for you.

About
v5.10+ is part of the upcoming v6.0 update, a complete overhaul of DeceasedCraft, completely new districts, new weapon playstyle, more guns, new zombies, and more. We have finally reached a point where we're happy to release this beta version to the public — do give us feedback on our Discord!
The Wasteland and Abyss districts are not present, meaning the endgame and high-tier gear is not available!
If you would prefer a more complete experience, download v5.5.5 instead, and keep your eyes peeled for v6.0's eventual release. Alternatively, support us on Patreon for closed betas and development updates!

The teaser trailers were filmed using a special DH Edition, which we have included in the beta section. Do note you will most likely need a powerful PC to run this at a playable FPS — you have been warned!
If you did not spawn in a medium/large Suburb Residential District, consider generating a new world, as it may affect your gameplay.
We will try our best, but there is no gurantee the beta will be compatible with the final v6.0 version!

"Every breakthrough has a cost."
Succumbing to greed, the infection comes too soon for the inhabitants of this modern civilization. Strive and survive among the ruins in this handcrafted zombie survival modpack.
Inspired by Project Zomboid and 7 Days to Die, DeceasedCraft offers vast, custom, procedurally generated cities to explore, loot and eventually conquer, with a focus on semi-realistic gameplay and tech progression that rewards exploration and scavenging. Battle hazardrous infected across the city districts to uncover the cause of and eventually cure this strange illness.
Claim a building, establish a base, but beware... the hordes approach, and they only grow stronger over time.

Note: If hosting through online websites, make sure the Enable Command Blocks setting is enabled, as some features like multiblocks and vehicle spawns depend on them!
Please do not use Optifine! The modpack already has Embeddium, which does many of the same things.
If your PC supports shaders, it is highly recomended you use them for the visuals! All pictures were taken with Complementary/Reimagined Shader Pack.
Please make sure the modpack is installed through a proper launcher as all the client configs are necessary for the best experience to prevent a bunch of key bindings conflicts.
Do not download the server pack and use it as your game file, as it is missing a lot of client optimization mods!

There are no plans to add the Nether or the End!
Phase 1 for the game is now complete! It features the wasteland, special enemies that live within, and armor set bonuses.
Phase 2 (Incursion Update) is now complete! It adds new landmark buildings, more bosses and enemy types, and more mechanics.
Phase 2.5 (Arsenal Update) is now complete! It adds realistic guns, cannons, main questline and objective, environmental story telling, revamed armor sets, reworked horde system and new dimension.
Phase 3 (v6.0) is currently ongoing!
