About reputation ranksI tried to begin this pack nearly two years ago. I loaded up a world and I was immediately overwhelmed and frankly disgusted. It wasn't much more than a generic zombie pack and I religiously held to CursedWalking (which wasn't much better to be honest) for a long time.
After I saw how the pack had been overhauled, I downloaded it again just to take a look. I was instantly blown away! It took me less than 15 minutes to figure out what I needed to do, and I have since persuaded a friend to switch to DeceasedCraft as well.
The core modding is incredible, the gameplay is smooth. Personally I recommend making a few one-session worlds to get a grip on the quest book (what to complete, what not to complete, etc.) so that you can maximize your grace period looting instead of reading!
If I had to make any complaints, it would be the textures. A lot of effort has gone into making this pack amazing, maybe some of it could go towards some retexturing? especially the special zombies, the spore mod, the rogues and bandits, and the furniture and stuff. If you've played the pack you would know what I mean. Just to make it a little more congruent with TZP you know? Also please please PLEASE find a way to make the quests that ask for you to kill "Zombies" include Husks too because I had killed maybe 20 zombies before I completed the Emily Carter quest just because it ONLY included normal zombies lol.
All things considered, I play this pack with 6.5 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA 2080 on my 10-year-old computer and still get a comfortable 80 FPS average. Alternatively, 8 GB RAM and 65-80 FPS average when hosting with Essential Mod (I've made several dedicated servers, including one for DeceasedCraft, but strangely have never been able to have other people on because of their tech difficulties lol)
Overall, amazing pack. 4.8/5. Please find someone to retexture though lol.

About reputation ranksThis modpack is awesome it has everything it really makes you feel apocalpyse aesthetic if you love crafting designing complicated machines and fighting zombies that get stronger everyday this is what you are looking for but it may be hard too if you are new to create and immersive engineering and it was hard for me bc i dont know anything about these mods but overall its 10/10 modpack play it.

About reputation ranksThis is the second modpack I’ve played the most, alongside RLcraft. It’s massive, with an impressive 310+ mods (including shaders and resource packs), surpassing the previous one. The gameplay is smooth overall, though FPS drops can happen due to the huge buildings and the 2–3 spawners in each room of standard structures. It also features tech mods like Immersive Engineering, Create, and Refined Storage, which I hadn’t known about before (I was more of an adventurer/looter type). Learning them took some effort, but once you do, they’re easy to remember and apply in new worlds. There are also guns, armor, and occasionally specific, complex crafting recipes, which become a breeze after mastering them. I play with a 32 render distance but limit mob render to under 20 chunks because advanced areas spawn mobs more frequently—hence my 3-star performance rating, though this can be adjusted to preference.
Overall? 4 stars.
While I reccomend the game, which is great, I wouldn’t recommend joining their Discord server, as you could be banned over something mentioned by people around you, with admins falsely claiming “he already had a warning,” as happened to me when my name matched another moderated player’s.

About reputation ranksGameplay loop is fantastic across game stages, especially if you enjoy stealing everything that isn't nailed down.
On a low end PC performance isn't great especially with the amount of travel required to loot end game structures, but the rest of the pack being so fantastic makes that a small issue in the grand scheme of things. Would definitely recommend.

About reputation ranksi've seen a spanish youtuber called "farfadox" he made a series of survival zombies only for playing with other people and i always wanted the same, this modpack give that to me and is awesome, extraordinary fr fr, it gives me the fear, the adrenaline, the guns is something phenomenal, the zombies, even more, the world generation is unique, i played some others zombie apocalipse modpacks and doesnt make what deceasedcraft make, a world generation, cities, towns everything auto-generated, also the loot, this is the bes of the best modpacks ive played ever, i love it (only one thing if a admin of deceasedcraft read this PLEASE ADD MORE SCYTHES I LOVE SCYTHES I BEG YOUU)

About reputation ranksI will not lie about anything in this review. This is the best modpack i've ever played. Not only does it have absolutely insane graphics, but the general playloop is good, and the amount of fun you can have with friends is crazy. I love this modpack. If there's anything bad i have to say about it, it's probably that i don't have friends to play this with, it's a little laggy, and the updates take a while (but are worth the wait). The progression is very good, starting by looting houses, moving on to making bases and factories, and ending by curing the infection.

About
v5.10+ is part of the upcoming v6.0 update, a complete overhaul of DeceasedCraft, completely new districts, new weapon playstyle, more guns, new zombies, and more. We have finally reached a point where we're happy to release this beta version to the public — do give us feedback on our Discord!
The Wasteland and Abyss districts are not present, meaning the endgame and high-tier gear is not available!
If you would prefer a more complete experience, download v5.5.5 instead, and keep your eyes peeled for v6.0's eventual release. Alternatively, support us on Patreon for closed betas and development updates!

The teaser trailers were filmed using a special DH Edition, which we have included in the beta section. Do note you will most likely need a powerful PC to run this at a playable FPS — you have been warned!
If you did not spawn in a medium/large Suburb Residential District, consider generating a new world, as it may affect your gameplay.
We will try our best, but there is no gurantee the beta will be compatible with the final v6.0 version!

"Every breakthrough has a cost."
Succumbing to greed, the infection comes too soon for the inhabitants of this modern civilization. Strive and survive among the ruins in this handcrafted zombie survival modpack.
Inspired by Project Zomboid and 7 Days to Die, DeceasedCraft offers vast, custom, procedurally generated cities to explore, loot and eventually conquer, with a focus on semi-realistic gameplay and tech progression that rewards exploration and scavenging. Battle hazardrous infected across the city districts to uncover the cause of and eventually cure this strange illness.
Claim a building, establish a base, but beware... the hordes approach, and they only grow stronger over time.

Note: If hosting through online websites, make sure the Enable Command Blocks setting is enabled, as some features like multiblocks and vehicle spawns depend on them!
Please do not use Optifine! The modpack already has Embeddium, which does many of the same things.
If your PC supports shaders, it is highly recomended you use them for the visuals! All pictures were taken with Complementary/Reimagined Shader Pack.
Please make sure the modpack is installed through a proper launcher as all the client configs are necessary for the best experience to prevent a bunch of key bindings conflicts.
Do not download the server pack and use it as your game file, as it is missing a lot of client optimization mods!

There are no plans to add the Nether or the End!
Phase 1 for the game is now complete! It features the wasteland, special enemies that live within, and armor set bonuses.
Phase 2 (Incursion Update) is now complete! It adds new landmark buildings, more bosses and enemy types, and more mechanics.
Phase 2.5 (Arsenal Update) is now complete! It adds realistic guns, cannons, main questline and objective, environmental story telling, revamed armor sets, reworked horde system and new dimension.
Phase 3 (v6.0) is currently ongoing!
