About reputation ranksThis pack is not for the feint of heart. Expect to come in passiving and automating everything in the known galaxy.
Hands down, MeatballCraft is one of the most detailed, engrossing packs I've had the pleasure to play.
Early game starts out with you doing a bit of a kitchen sink thing, bouncing around through mods to ultimately unlock the Extended Crafting table, where Chapter 2 officially begins, which is where things really start to take off.
You will constantly bounce between exploring new dimensions, fighting new creatures, diving deep into familiar mods gated in new exciting ways. Passives become a puzzle of automation and logistics in a refreshing way that keeps me diving down a new an exciting rabbit hole every time I open the game up. I've spent hundreds of hours in this pack, taking my time learning many of these mods and how they interact with one another, and I am PUMPED to spend hundreds more.
Sainagh is constantly working to add further content, fix anything causing issues, and listens to community feedback. A lot of the custom textures, blocks and multis are pitched in by the community themselves.
Speaking of the community, the discord and people on it are top notch. Always providing a helping hand or just having a good time. I almost play the modpack as much for them as I do for myself.
While it's still in beta currently (the end game is being finished and refined) I still have so much more in front of me to explore and where I would have beaten most other packs ten times through, MBC keeps giving and giving.
Complete top notch experience that I use as a bar for all other packs I play, with no small wonder why I keep coming back to it.

About reputation ranksIt works as a very nice modpack if you want to touch on a lot of different mods. It customizes various recipes to force that, though usually in a decent manner.
The quest book is quite extensive. However, at times some pieces of information are missing from the quest book, or are mentioned early on before they're relevant.
The level of documentation for some mods can be great, but then other mods can be vague.
My only complaint about mod choices is that I dislike bees, even with Gendustry they're quite boring. They don't have enough interaction or interesting parts to obscure that they're just a bunch of blobs of stats you try to make higher, there's nothing to incite interest.
I'd like if there was routes that didn't rely on bees at all.
Another notable element is the performance. Getting 120fps on a large modded pack on 1.12 was quite shocking to me, which is presumably some mix of the developer focusing effort on that and the Java 22 running instructions.

About reputation ranksIts worth your time, the progression is unique enough where it actually feels different to most packs.
Also runs surprisingly well if you use the included Java args (slightly degrades quality, its worth it)
If you're like me and you abandon packs, this one has a lot of uniqueness in the early game to keep you interested.
I don't like some of the mod choices however, and the quests aren't linear enough for it to feel cohesive.

About reputation ranksThis modpack definitely needs a few performance mods, or maybe a bit of trimmed fat as far as the mods it encompasses. While my rig isn't exactly super beefy, it isn't exactly a slouch either, yet I still had to suffer through the classic 15+ minute load screen and world load screen only to enter a pack that struggled whenever you load new chunks. Not exactly thrilling for a modpack with a major exploration focus.
Meatballcraft on its surface suffers from the same issue that many mod-dense packs suffer with, that being an overall lack of cohesion and extremely difficult to grasp early game. Unfortunately that along with all of the clashing textures was what turned me off the pack after a couple hours. That being said, it's clear that a huge amount of attention has been paid to the mid and late game, with a cursory glance and some modpack expertise telling me that the pack has a few hundred hours of content at the minimum, maybe up to a couple thousand. Maybe it's just not for me.
