It works as a very nice modpack if you want to touch on a lot of different mods. It customizes various recipes to force that, though usually in a decent manner.
The quest book is quite extensive. However, at times some pieces of information are missing from the quest book, or are mentioned early on before they're relevant.
The level of documentation for some mods can be great, but then other mods can be vague.

My only complaint about mod choices is that I dislike bees, even with Gendustry they're quite boring. They don't have enough interaction or interesting parts to obscure that they're just a bunch of blobs of stats you try to make higher, there's nothing to incite interest.
I'd like if there was routes that didn't rely on bees at all.

Another notable element is the performance. Getting 120fps on a large modded pack on 1.12 was quite shocking to me, which is presumably some mix of the developer focusing effort on that and the Java 22 running instructions.

This is a Stardew valley Pokemon mod. So why did the 2.0 update remove so much stardew valley content. NO ONE cares about fossils. They cut clutter to 5%, they removed croptopia. The big and small pots don't work. In the bakery mod, you can't bake bread?! At least add poke breeding. Nooooo, add ****** little fossils. Jesus Christ Joe, what's wrong with you man?

I love this modpack!!! It runs perfectly on my older laptop and the textures, balancing, and exploration are phenomenal!

I understand that not every modpack suits everyone's taste, but BigChadGuys Plus truly stands out. Its eclectic mix of cosmetic mods—I've never seen so many variations of "flower pot" in one place—paired with quality of life enhancements, and the inclusion of Create? And then you add Cobblemon on top of it all?? What are you trying to do to me, oh brilliant modpack creator? I can't possibly devote all my time to what is likely one of the greatest modpacks ever, yet I can't seem to tear myself away from the keyboard. Much love.

this modpack is the worst modpack ive ever played on, the memory leaks are insane, I can hardly run on it, it has the most useless mods ever, none gamechanging. its so boring, just dont get it

I'm shocked with this modification, the best modification that I've been able to play, especially with friends!

Really cool tech pack that presents many logistical challenges. Played to completion. Not much exploring (almost none) which is by design - I didn't mind this, but exploration is something I do enjoy when trying to think through a problem, so thats a small downside imo.

Probably the most realistic tech of all 1.12.2 packs. Not grindy, very stable, clear progression. Really cool processing chains. Not bloated. Only criticism is that its not completely finished.

I have been having so much fun, i have caught lots of different pokemon. I am even building a team consisting of nothing but mice. This was my first introduction to the create mod. I have built a working mouse train. and my castle guarded by mice. I couldnt have done some things if i hadnt turn my world save into a server to play with my friends.
