The mod was the driving force of the first modded server Id ever played on. Its pretty easy to modify Origins and customize how they work with datapacks, though i feel many of the Origins addon mods end up being pretty samey. Origins, for better or worse is a classic of modern mc.

The gameplay side is a bit lacking for my taste. I hope they integrate these animals or drops more into the vanilla progression or even create their own progression (maybe compat with other mods).
For now it's a cute small animal mod.

  • Start brewing
  • New Alchemy system (which provides another way for potions without the nether & its good balanced)

  • rustic medieval vibe

This mod is one of my favourites.
It adds perfect integration into vanilla minecraft & even modded.
