Meatballcraft is one of, if not the best modpack I have ever stumbled upon.

After 580hrs of gameplay and having reached nearly the end of chapter 6 of the quests, I am confident that this modpack is an all-time favourite for me.

The progression is almost perfectly paced with a fascinating story alongside it. Combat remains a challenge the whole way while giving a plethora of options to choose from that is actively being expanded upon. Of course, if you prefer one-shotting even early-end-game bosses, you can always use a shuriken! It also doesn't leave you as a glass cannon, and has many armours to choose from wherever you are in the progression.

You unlock powerful technology that helps automation and generating resources and power.
Among them is AE2 is not too far into the questline and is a cornerstone for any and all automation in the pack, which is necessary unless you plan on actively hurting yourself. It also forces you to learn decent cable management as it can get pretty messy.
You also unlock EMC pretty early on but it is far from overpowered. Only base resources found in vanilla dimensions are included, with some exceptions.

There is also a lot of QoL mods and features included, so you can really make your life easy, or you can make it a living hell by giving yourself challenges. One such challenge is playing it without EMC, which is doable but requires a lot of automation and planning.

Above all, the discord community is one of the best there is out there, hands down. Everyone is welcomed and there are no stupid questions. The developer (the great Sainagh) is very active in it and frequently asks for feedback on upcoming features or changes.

Also, thanks to some shady magicians posing as 'programmers', this pack can run on java 22!
It will however need a lot of ram (I allocate ~8Gb and have host a local server on my pc for myself) and will take a lot storage space because of all the exploration. However, there are some dimensions you will never visit again and so you can probabledelete those dimensions outright.

Sin lugar a dudas, me parece el mejor modpack en cuestión de dificultad, balance, y rendimiento por sobre todas las cosas. Puedo jugarlo en una pc muy viejita (a10 7700k, 16gb, rx 550) sin ningún problema. Me gusta que no tenga magia, demasiadas cosas sin sentido que jamás vas a usar, y una progresión la cual tenés que y te obliga a jugar adecuadamente. Perfecto para añadirle mods como Cave Dweller, o The man from the fog.

Beyond Depth is an incredible mod pack in my opinion, it blends the challenge, the exploration, and progression that feels really rewarding and addictive. The mods are super fun to play with and there's lots of variety but it still feels that it sticks to the unique theme of the mod pack.

One of the features I love is the super long and expansive quest book. It shows clear linear progression for newer players who would like help with progression, since there's a large amount of mods and endless things to do. The linear progression helps you understand how each mod works as well with tons of information in the quest book.

Beyond Depth also has challenging bosses, creative mechanics involving some of these bosses, and some gimmicks that helps it stand out from other packs. Each of the stages gives towards a new thing for you to do, and it doesn't feel too repetitive. You can truly immerse yourself into all the tech, boss, and adventure mods.

Another huge plus is the regular updates/bug fixes, I think the devs really care about helping the mod pack grow and get better as time goes on. In the last 4 months they have worked really hard on patching each bug and updating the mods to the latest versions. This makes the pack feel a lot more unified and polished.

Overall, I think Beyond Depth is a really fun pick for someone who likes deep and long progression, creative mods, adventure, and pretty difficult boss fights. Just make sure your pc is decent, even though I think the performance mods are very effective. I've played it with my girlfriend so far, so it should be super fun with friends!

Shaderpack: Complementary Unbound (medium-high) no issue

This modpack is probably the best modpack in minecraft, no doubt. The progressive is amazing, the content is substantial, and the difficulty doesnt feel artifical. There's so much to do and the new dimensions and the base game dimension overhaul, I cant even describe how much I love this modpack. Only thing im iffy about is performance, but for a 400+ modpack the optimization is pretty good, just sucks that some of my friends with worse computers than mine cant play.

Very engaging gameplay, and progression that is simple enough to wrap your head around but still complex enough that it will take you a while to complete.

Great modpack to play alone or with friends. The performance can be weird at times but a simple leave and rejoin fixes that.

Overall, i quite liked Beyond Cosmo, but that has more to do with the multiplayer server I was on, than the modpack itself.

Positives:

• a modpack that includes guns
• cool hud, camera effects
• has custom progression through dimensions

Negatives:

• extremely hard earlygame, to the point that if you don't miraculously find a few diamonds for a reinforcer from security craft you will not be able to progress. Your base will be constantly bombarded by smart creepers, and by that point you might as well restart. Going in blind into your first playtrough isn't really possible. With these time constraints you cant search for a good location, you have to base wherever on the mmcn server this is mitigated by having a hideout system
