This modpack is enjoyable and has a nice progression with a lot of bosses, but they don't seem connected. I would like the beginner bosses to drop something that, in the long run, would be helpful for crafting or stat upgrades. Most of the mods are really good and engaging, and having upgradable artifacts is so much fun. Here's something I don't like about the modpack: giant trees that only manage to lag my game and spawn a trillion mobs, and "Born in Chaos" mobs. The risk-to-reward ratio is not worth it; there are mobs that are deadlier than bosses but give little to nothing upon being killed. The quest book is helpful too look at the progression but that's it, no reward nothing, atleast make xp as a reward it might be the bare minimum, also it would be cool if in the quest there was a armor set roadmap so you can see the armor tiers without needing to watch YouTube 100 days videos. Also there aren't enough trinket slot. In conclusion this modpack is cool well done( i like the loot balancing) and it has a lot of potential but it feels like a modpack in beta. It is really unpolished(specially thanks to the lacking quest book)This modpack is enjoyable and has a nice progression with a lot of bosses, but they don't seem connected. Me like because:
-Very well made and maintained modpack
-Balnce is on point
-Progression is smooth
-Visuals and optimalization (super stable on my machine with shaders)
-Combat system working perfectly with other mods
-amount of content is huge evryone will find something for yourself

Me not like because:
-I encountered one minor crash for around ~25 hours of gameplay

  • Screenshot 1: challenging modpack with souls-like features (I love it)

Excellent progression, not that mindless annoying grinding, but not rushing everything at once, just chef kiss, also the difficulty is superb, in this one you need to get used to the guns haha, a little annoying, but once you get armor and a sword, it is quite manageable, also the loot is EXCELLENT great incentive for going into dungeons and structures, coming along with great risk which is nice, the structures are beautiful and the terrain blends pretty much seamlessly

MC Eternal 2's quest book is visually interesting but lacks depth, guidance, & consistency. The devs reliance on multiplayer to make the pack engaging or rewarding does it no favors for solo play. The shop is unfinished & unusable while features that hold much less importance get attention first. The pack includes Applied Energistics 2 and Cloud storage but does not include Refined Storage. This decision makes no sense in a kitchen sink pack designed for beginner to intermediate players. I have read other review's claiming performance issues, i did not have those issues.

If you're looking for an easy expert mode modpack, this is for you! The questbook is descriptive in explaining various things. There is minimal grind compared to other modpacks, and besides the core progression, you are free to do whatever you want (as you unlock various mods). There is a good blend of tech/magic throughout the pack and the QOL fixes over the original do make a difference.

What is it ?

A mod adding a new illager to raids and mansions , alongside a custom mechanic related to enchanting and entities;

What does it offer ?

An enchanter mob straight from Minecraft Dungeons which can bewitch its allies to make them stronger in various possible ways; The mage himself isn't that strong nor resilient and I think it's for the better, as he ends up playing more of a support role , which works quite well with other mods adding their own raiders such as savage and ravage or illage and spillage : respillaged .
Many if not all of these enchantments can also be found naturally on mobs upon spawning at times, which will make your journey through the world a bit more dangerous as you will find stronger and more resilient mobs more often (not too much to be impossible though, and a lot of things about the mod can be configured, there's even a whole system of Ancient Mobs just like in Minecraft Dungeons which is completely optional).
Best of all : you can enchant mobs and even enchant yourself to some degree by finding mob enchant books in various loot tables (including the vanilla woodland mansion, adding another reason to go there).

(This new enchanter mob also has great animations in its 1.20.1 iteration too just like hunter's return, and I haven't noticed anything negative regarding the mod's impact on performances)

In conclusion

This cool mod adds another interesting mage to the illager group, which has managed to get his own seat in vanilla mansions and role in raids.
The mob enchanting is quite interesting and even before Minecraft Dungeons was a even thing, I always wondered what it would be like to enchant yourself and other entities in the game.
