Same issues as RLCraft except... it has a somehow both better and worse world???

So first of all, literally almost the exact same gameplay as RLCraft except this one... has an actual lore and story and oh my goodness... DECENT WORLDBUILDING!!! and not to mention another custom dimension, custom structures, custom biomes, custom everything... yep, the progression too has been changed a bit and i like this version more. Plus radiation cus why not lol

Performance is still as bad as you think, in fact it does get a lot worse because the pack uses OTG, loads many custom structures, etc, but for the sheer amount of features added, it's technically better than base RLCraft.

Now the main focus, aesthetics... this pack is just surreal. OTG Dregora is just an amazing set piece of orchestration of world building combined with whatever the devs are doing. Every world you make has a big guaranteed structure on the spawn, and added an extra 500 other structures to the game, specific special biomes like the snowy parasite biome with tons of gorgeous buildings, many nuclear silos, villages, village bunkers, and such other things that spans for hundreds or even thousands of blocks. The whole custom biome is just amazing, you really feel the world is alive and not just a bunch of Lycanites that strikes you outta nowhere (they still do, but with an amazing background now)

So what do i feel about this modpack? eh, i honestly prefer this one simply due to aesthetics, the revised gameplay (such as the radiation, brutal towers, etc) also adds a bit more coherency even if it's such a painful addition, but overall, i stand where i stood, i prefer this pack compared to normal RLCraft even though i don't really recommend this compared to normal RLCraft if you're new to modpacks, that's it

In theory, it's just an extremely extensive everlasting pack with extended endgame and extraneus entities encore... or like i said, a big big pack with many many things that insta kills you. Let's talk about my points in review one by one...

Gameplay wise, 90% of your time is bonking your pogo stick of a weapon to many many different thingies. And that's it, that's the most remarkable part of it. There's difficulties in progression by the terms of leveling, you can't just mine iron, you need to get level 4 in mining to unlock it, and certainly you can spend levels in upgrading skills... How do you get the levels? well, exp... and where do you get exp?... a lot of places that's certainly not so convenient...

Still on the gameplay too, there's just too many game design decisions that are just a bit unintuitive... like, i know you read that i said the progression is difficult, but really all you need is 5 levels to spend on Crafting XP skill, some gravel to be turned to flint, some iron, some unlit torches, and now you just win tons of free xp for the rest of your run... just like that... see? world is unfair, so you can get unlimited xp from doing things like these...

The rest of the gameplay too is just like that, bonk your weapon...

Performance... bad, just bad. Fancy Block Particles, Better Foliage, Dynamic Trees, and even Lycanite Mobs itself, they all eat a chunk of your RAM, your CPU process, and they're all fighting upon each other... just, bad bad, if you play, turn off FBP and BF, will help your system

Aesthetically... yeah, even with FBP and BF and everything enabled, the whole aesthetic of the pack is rather meh, even with RTG settings, the whole pack seems to lack a certain direction, and while i thought the structures are just extremely awesome, you probably won't meet them unless you're pretty in the midgame already... which ties back to gameplay btw, spam those torches.

Overall, 3/5, somehow still bearable as a pack, gameplay loop so bad it's just funny now since i've finished this about 5 times, each runs goes horrenduously except my most recent one, if you're new to modpacks, sure, you can play this, just... beware.

First of all, this is a re-review of this modpack, it simply has one of the greatest potential ever. It nails the best part of backroom, that is the feeling of being stuck, loneliness in a liminal space...

With that being said, being stuck, feels boring... like don't get me wrong, i actually liked this modpack until i realise (20 minutes in) that it only gives you the use of Create to solve everything in the early up until endgame, yep, just look at the quest book, it's majority Create. I don't hate Create but i personally think that too much modpacks nowadays has used Create as a one slap fix of progression for their tech tree and i feel that it's on an extremely low bar of boring. Like, i don't expect packs that has the literal name "Liminal Industries" only cares so much about Create in it, like yes i know the pack has both Botania and Mekanism but they feel so much so dwarfed compared to the spotlight that is being given to Create, it's just absurd amounts of difference, like please if you want Create as the main focus, atleast make it bearable, dillute it better so i can feel the sense of coherency and interactions between all the mods being put together, and the joy of making an actual Industry in the Liminal Space instead of just playing Create pack repacked as Backrooms tech-pack. WIth that being said, i still love that the modpack is properly configured, i do dislike the lack of monsters, and having them only spawn from sculks as reference to the bacteria is just a bit, meh, doesn't make me feel anything, just, bored.

So what really now? i've played further into the pack and see the enjoyment to it. Still just stuck with create, botania, mekanism and what not, still sucks a bit i suppose, but i guess that's for the best of this pack right now, i do wanna reiterate that there is certainly so many potential to this pack that can be improved, especially from the technological interactions between mods as you can see from my thoughts on it before. Immersiveness can be improved, maybe having some shaders on by default would work as a quick fix. Better fix would be to either have a mod that adds in the actual bacteria rather than simply sculks, but that's all i can say for now.

If you're new to modpacks, this could be a decent one, do note that early game can be boring

The Auto Bridge mod is a lightweight utility designed to eliminate the tedious, high-risk process of bridging over large gaps in Minecraft. Instead of holding down the sneak key and carefully aligning your crosshair, this mod automates the block-placement process directly under your feet from pressing V.

⚠️ Server Compatibility Restrictions: This mod provides a massive mechanical advantage. Because it automates block placement, many public multiplayer networks ban it under their "unapproved modifications" or macro policies. Always check your server's rules before logging in with it enabled.

It functions kinda... perfectly? It's such a simple mod, but also one I hate to be without any more. I'd actually bet that it will be added to the vanilla game someday.

I didn't intend to write a review, so this is all off the dome, but when leaving a rating, I thought "I can't give appleskin 5 stars..." yet... out of the many, many attempts, I can't think of any other mod that does it better. If that doesn't make it a perfect mod, I don't know what would.

My only gripe is that the black checkerboard is... pretty hard to look at... but that's what resource packs are for.

The best Modpack I've used by far. Would recommend for those who want a PVP experience thats not overly cluttered with useless HUD mods or whatever!

I'm not entirely sure about this pack. On the surface, it's Superior, as it name to Cisco. Most of mods are identical. They also seem to fall on the same route. "Grind like it's an overwork or lose it."

Archevoker, your first tutorial boss, rules this out clearly. Your normal gear that isn't fully upgraded at that time will not cut it. While Cisco plays on "Who hit first win" as a one-shot game. Superior tries to make it like Terraria in 3D. Tbh, mobility doesn't help much if it's hit scan / too fast projectile. Due to the limitations of Minecraft, it's either tank it well enough, move too stupidly fast or die quickly, and all MC boss mods never deliver a good fight when they turn to fast pace, ever. At least I don't get one shot by a dragon or a sea serpent. But undergear will be a quick dead anyway :v

While I feel like Superior can be a better alternative choice, it seems to fall into the same problem. Is my gear under or overpowered? Souls have their weapon cap with a smiting stone. Terraria cap by boss progression. Superior and Cisco failed to deliver a good checkpoint. (While you can dodge fang and vex. You can't dodge an explosion, so it's a gear check. It can also rush at vex speed to yeet you into the sky for no reason...)

I'm also not sure about balance. You know, when Apotheosis, Modular, Enchant, Spell... mix and match together. You need heavy testing to see how far it can go. (Like Cisco where you deal 5 dmg -> 500m). Which leads me to another question. Will mod author balance it by expecting the player to min-max it or average power level? (As I mentioned early, where is the good checkpoint/cap?)

BGM choice is the most questionable to me. The passive BGM turned me down completely. That peaw peaw peaw track turned it off like Issac's chanting. Imagine you explore cave, nether and this track is playing...

Limiting the way of teleport to Bonfire for each boss ruins the fun of mod MC for me too. Especially when you like to hoard resources and revisit a lot of places. (Apotheosis with a single warden in each ancient city?.... ouch)

The last thing about this mod is the quest line. Only reveal after finishing the tutorial is fine in most game. But for this pack, I would recommend changing the Evoker to something like a checkpoint for gear that needs to fight the evoker instead. Once obtained, they reveal the entire quest line, starting with the journey to Evoker...

Overall, Superior to Cisco for sure. But I can't say much about balance and progression. May be good for hard player, but for slow burn like me... it's hard to draw a line.

BTW : Due to some world gen or something. Finding Andesite/Gra/Dio in this pack is a real nightmare. To the point that just removing create is a better choice if you want to make it too costly in shops. It's say alternative to grind... No, it's not if you make the world gen this needlessly grind for basic setup. -1 point for this.

Also, the aoe explode on death for easy player dead gitgud trope is cheap and lame. Especially when there is no clear virtual clue. Any modder should stop this sad trend. Try to make a cool and good one instead of a gitgud meme for once. Superior fell into Cisco-like because of this.

Edit ->

After massing around for more, especially on boss, yeah. The Balance is either gib or chill. (Your first goal is not die by any on-death or any enemy spell that just randomly selects from the pool without a good indicator.)
Enchantment is bloated with silver bullet thingy, as always.

Most special bows are as bad as in Prominence II. Different modules are not interesting without traits like Tinker (or good varies between each other). Modulars also waste too much material/ingot just to upgrade that it is far harder to farm in this pack. It's not even funny when you look at the steep cost. Way too grindy (again, look at apotheosis and 'one warden for each ancient city.') This doesn't count nether star and some other mat.

Another problem I found is memory leak. While overall performance is great. But due to mass spells, mob, tame. You'll experience hiccups, Tick rate froze for a while, even on singleplayer. I can't imagine how performance will be on the server. Once leaked enough, the game crashes along with your explorer. The author also doesn't clean up the config properly. (Why Simple plane config is here?)

Some skills and weapons are just bad or outright OP. Arrow damage from diamond/netherite does almost nothing. While Life steal arrow is another thing. 1/6 current hp dmg for each hit (it's actually about 1/20 for boss, but you get the idea) while heal up to 10 HP per hit.
Battlemage skill also seemed to focus too much on projectile type. Making things like Ball Lighting the most op spamable spell in the pack. Cast once, and you have 50 more ball lighting flying around. Spam it and your ear, enemy is rip.

Edit ->

Incredibly helpful, all modpacks should have this or something like it, but using it in my modpack I learned that there are other keyboard layouts besides QWERTY that some users use, which the mod does not work with.
Functions for every keyboard layout used anywhere in the world would be a lot to ask, I'm pretty satisfied with the mod as it is, I highly recommend that every pack use Keyboard Wizard, but packmakers should be aware that it won't work for every player, and you cannot remove Controlling just because you have Keyboard Wizard.

Cut any block into 1 pixel pieces, easily assemble those into shapes en masse or individually, rotate them, color them, configure them to move with redstone, copy and paste them, mix and match them, all also works with liquids, all survival accessible, all while also having wildly better performance than the competition. It's hard to think of anything you could want out of this kind of mod that Little Tiles doesn't cover.
Does have occasional rendering issues, where tiles become invisible, which isn't a major issue, but for a mod all about building visually appealing constructions, it's pretty important that you can actually see those constructs.
