i was searching for a mod that adds /home for days. i found it.

This review is only for Stone and Steam ages as I havent gotten to finish LV yet

GTNH is a very polished and complex modpack, and a grindy one at that.
The gameplay is very good and addicting, but it is a bit counterbalanced by the fact anything takes forever.
The performance in the pack is amazing, specially for a version as unoptimized as 1.7.10.

All this has been achieved through a complete quest book that doubles as a guide, and a huge set of mods, a lot ot which are maintained by them, and custom made optimization mods that have become the staple of 1.7.10 modding for some time now.

Everything in the mod has connection with other things inside the mod, i would say that its only problem is that i just not need to make everthing in the mod, so when you play alone, you have to be creative.

I did not expect to write this about a mod like this, but I have rarely played with a mod this polished and customisable.

Not only do the effects look really good out of the box, they are quite remarkably customisable across like four pages of configuration.

From the sample rate, the colour, lifespan, the width, custom patterns, all the way to whether the contrails should fade, get wider or narrower based on velocity or distance and what exactly those variables look like; practically everything is customisable.

I use it on a server (client-side only) to see actual persistent contrails in the sky from other players flying overhead and it is genuinely so amazing and adds a lot. I also have noticed no performance impact whatsoever.
Big recommendation.

This completely changes minecraft into an action roguelike adventure. - think Ultrakill. Everything is so polished that you would think that this is a paid game you download somewhere, but it's a minecraft mod. It's very fun to play.

Стоит ли говорить, что порт мода, особенно со старых версий - задача сложная и зачастую неблагодарная?

Raptor делает то, что доселе казалось невозможным. Ну, по крайней мере, крайне сложной задчаей.

Порт HBM на новые версии сообщество явно ждало долго. И вот, он появился!

Несмотря на то, что проект находится в глубокой альфе; в нём нет и половины планируемого контента; а работы ещё непочатый край - уже сейчас можно с уверенностью сказать, что он определённо заслуживает внимание от фанатов HBM. Я, конечно, не фанат и не знаток HBM, но судя по всему, Raptor удалось передать как саму суть оригинального мода, так и ту, сложно описываемую, атмосферу (если хотите - вайб) мода.

А это дорогого стоит.

Геймплейно сказать пока что нечего: как по мне, минимальная играбельность пока не достигнута. Собственно, это и не проблема. Пройдёт время и Raptor сделает всё нужное.

Не могу не отметить, что я из первых уст знаю, какими усилиями порой даются некоторые части мода. Но, несмотря ни на что, Raptor продолжает работать. Что не может не вызывать уважение.
В отличие от других портов и проектов, Raptor делает всё, чтобы мод действительно развивался, а не стагнировал.

Впрочем, это и главное. Если создатель заинтересован в том, что он делает - любые сложности ни по чём.

I started playing with my friends and we had quite a fun first run (The dessert is a scary place) overall it was pretty fun roguelike experience, once you lose your 10 lives you’re gone so player revive really does play a big role in multiplayer, we all ran it with no issues in a 12GB server and had fun with the mechanics of the modpack, some people might not like the vanilla combat but it was very fun regardless and we’re still learning to play it properly, very good modpack for some daily runs rather than a long day of Minecraft survival, really enjoy the difficulty and low hp at the start with the scaling, overall a fun progression and adventure focus pack with friends.

Fantasia is different from other modpacks in the fact it has an extremely clear vision of what it wants the game to feel like, and I think it's extremely important to point out it does this without shaders. The start is very slow, but in a good way, it really gives you the time to relax and base build, letting you take things at your own pace. The work on the Overgeared mod makes the entire pack's tool crafting system REALLY stand out and makes progressing to each tool tier feel like a meaningful achievement. The combat is highly tuned using Better Combat as a base, but again, puts so much work into making it just feel right. This pack is especially fun in a multiplayer setting, where you have multiple friends taking on multiple classes/roles. Highly recommended.

Super deep modpack, really fun to figure everything out for the first time. Unfortunately theres some translation issues with some of the mods and the performance is to be expected from a pack of this size but other than that its 100% worth the play.
